I order ATT service this past Saturday morning and still cannot access the tracking of the order number via the link supplied in the confirmation email.

I ordered online so I didn't have to spend time on the phone with customer service ... but should I give them a call or just wait longer?

I know I have asked this before but,can anyone PLEASE tell me why at&t doesn't have any M4 rated hearing aid compabitle phones? The have plenty of M3 ratings, but no M4. There must be a reason. All CDMA carriers have them but not at&t or T-Mobil. It may be the GSM network, but someone should know. I like at&t and would like to stay. Sometimes I wonder if they cator to the young people. I dropped my trusty old (Legacy AT&T) Nokia 3200 in the pool today, and it won't power up. I purchase an unlocked Sony Ericsson W810i about a week ago, but it hasn't arrived yet. I've taken the 3200 apart in the hope that it might come back to life so I can get my contacts out of it.

In the meantime, I have a Nokia 2610 GoPhone that I bought as an occasional phone for the kids. I'd like to use that til the w810 arrives, BUT it's locked of course.

I went to the "AT&T Device Support Center" brick & mortar shop, and they were no help at all. They didn't even understand why my old legacy AT&T sim wouldn't work in the new GoPhone. I asked them if they could unlock the handset, but they said they weren't allowed to.

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep an old ATT plan (from before the Cingular merger)? I was dealing with a customer earlier that had an old ATT America plan with free nights @ 7, 900 anytime, free M2M and Free Weekends for $45 for the primary and $20 for the secondary ($65 MRC). Well none of the current ATT offerings come even close, but in order for them to upgrade their handsets, they have to change their plan. Do any of you know how to get around that, if its at all possible?

Just went on vacation with a friend in a "partnership" service area. We both have AT&T as our service provider. My Razr V3xx had strong signals and had no signal problems, however my friend's Samsung SLM clamshell phone was not able to get a signal at all to make or receive calls in this area. We both have AT&T shouldn't we both be gettting the same signals? If phones do behave differently how do I assure that the next phone I get will be able to be used in partnered areas? I'm considering the new 3G iphone if it's hearing aid compatible and if it is how will I know this phone or any future phone will work as well as my Razr when roaming?

I just learned something about AT&T. Maybe a lot of you know this. AT&T is really the old Cingular, they're just using the AT&T name, and giving AT&T a bad reputation.

I had a big problem where the AT&T/Cingular Premier Desk said I could add a 3rd phone line to my plan without having to change. They took the order, gave me a confirmation order number and sent me the Sim card. Once I got the Sim card I was to call back and have it activated. That's when Cell Hell broke loose. It was supposed to be a Father's Day Surprise. Not! After 3 days on the phone with different rep's I could not get the Sim card activated as the management said they will not mix a AT&T Blue with a AT&T Orange, but it's actually Cingular, explains the orange. I am looking to upgrade to a a smart phone within the next three months.

What new phones are expected other than the new IPone.

I like the idea of the tilt style but see that AT&T has a very limited selection compared to Verizon. Why is this so? I am just not that crazy about the HTC Tilt. Can we expect any new phones in this form from companies such as LG or Samsung.

Heard the $30 unlimited data per line will not have ANY text. Store rep said you can add $10 to that $30 for unlimited text...is this true?? Or would/could I use my current $29.99 unlimited family text???
