Where's the Flash???

I just don't get where the flash is on most cell phones offered through ATT. I have an older version pantech (which pic quality is horrible) but has a flash. These new phones like the Walkman have 2megapixel technology, but no flash. SO, no action and no night time photo taking I guess. I could go with a Curve, but too big for me and I am not a text freak. Any ideas or any new phones coming soon with a flash? What is so hard about putting a little tiny flash like my Pantech C300? Doesn't seem like rocket science to put it on any phone with a cam. Again, any small phones I am missing that will take great pics and a flash???

Need Help

Can anyone tell me what the FAN for military is? I believe there are two different ones: one for active duty and one for reserve. I saw it somewhere, but now I cannot locate them. MyCSP sucks compared to regular CSP. Please let me know what they are or where to find them in MyCSP.

Pearl vs Curve???

Hey, I know this subject has probably been beat to death but I am torn between the Curve and the Pearl both for ATT (both have new act. For $99) I’m coming from Sprint, and looking for PDA type phone.

I am using the phone for 40% work 60% personal. I need a calendar/todo list/word to keep me organized with work and school, I send about 2000+ texts a months so the full keypad will be useful, I use the web decent amount, e-mail is a push I could live without it but its also covenant, IM/camera the same

batt life i could always charge it in my office as well as the car...

any input is appreciated....

To our dear customers

As a AT&T Cor Rep I would like our customers to consider the following.

If you buy a new Razr and it cost you $50 at point of sale and you get it free after rebate, do you really think that if you break it you'll get that same phone at that same price? The answer is no. That is why we always stress getting the phone insurance. You'll save yourself the headache of having to pay full retail price for that phone.

I'm saying this because it has happened quite a few times this week, especially this morning. Customer came in with a wet phone with no insurance and expected to get the razr for the same price. She even dropped "I've been a cust for 6 years." Don't get me wrong we love our customers that show that type of loyalty, but don'...

HP phones

I switched phones (yes, again) to the HP Ipaq 6925. I'm glad that I left my other phone for it. Why doesn't AT&T support HP's phones anymore?

AT&T charges even when I DON'T use their services

I'm new and maybe in error but I got pissed off at AT&T yesterday. I have a new unlocked 8525 with an AT&T Go phone chip in it. At home I hook it up via USB to my desktop and connect through that connection to my Verizon DSL to the Internet. I got charged by AT&T! 😡

When I called and asked why, they said because I was using their phone. I explained that I paid for the phone, it was unlocked and I owned it, not them. She agreed to that. Then I asked why I was charged. She told me it was because I was using their service. Baloney! I was using my own hardware and Verizon services. There was absolutely no connection to AT&T.

It works out that somehow, anytime I use the phone, no matter how it is connected or even if it's being used as a ...

warranty (if anyone has done this)

anyone with a CU500v ever place a claim for it? and if so did they do the normal procedure for warranty or did you get a different phone?

i know the basic warranty claim rule (well, what i tell customers here at my retail location) is that the first two times you place a warranty they send you the same phone, then on the third time you get a different one.

was just wondering if there was any technicality since the 500/500v was disc.

thanks in advance!

Blackjack 2 Question

I am having trouble with my Blackjack deleting my emails a few seconds after I read them. I've looked through the settings and have not found an auto delete option. There is an option to warn me when I delete a message but not for the ones that are auto deleting. The device tutorials are usually helpful but they do not mention anything about an auto delete option. Please help!

Thanks in advance!

PDAs on AT&T's Network

I am looking for an all-in-one device that is capable of being activated with or without a data plan. I was looking at getting a Pearl, but I am not sure if I want to constantly pay the $29.99 a month for the data. What is the best PDA on AT&T that can be activated with or without a data plan? I would like to be able to access my work emails from it, but then drop the data at a later date. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!
