Hi everyone. I'm currently a Verizon customer but hate their current phones and how expensive their packages are. I'm thinking of switching to either AT&T or Sprint....with either the Blackberry Curve or the Blackberry 8830. Any thoughts or feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. I do like the curve a little better, but Sprint is cheaper with their plans. I currently have the Treo 700w and cannot wait to get rid of it!!!

I am going to buy the blackberry curve or pearl as a new customer probably in the next day or so.

Then I will buy an iphone, hook that up and sell my blackberry on ebay to make a few bucks.

At this point, is my blackberry locked? unlocked? Do I have to remove my SIM card??

Does any one have an "official" information on when The Fayetteville & Costal areas of NC are expected to get 3G coverage? Raleigh/Durham has had it for a long while now. Does at&t have possibly have an "anticipated 3G" rollout map or something? It just funny to see posts about verison trialing 4G services and I have a 3G phone and can't even use that function on it yet lol. Thanks for your help!

I'm thinking about getting an iPhone. However...I have a couple questions about what I should do.

Is it really worth getting 1st of all? Secondly, if I get an "unlocked" version...how to activate? I know I can just throw in my sim card..but how will I activate the iPhone data plan, etc? Will all the features work correctly (i.e. visual voicemail, etc.)?

I have a Treo 750. I've used 700wx's on both Verizon and Sprint. The speed on the 750 is phenomenal, while the WX's that I had froze. At&t's speed is sufficient, so why do people hate on GSM phones. 🤨

I vote for Treo 750.

Would text messaging with at&t be faster than over Nextel's network.

I am a Sprint customer today but am trying AT&T for the 30 day trail. My question has to do with plan pricing. To get the same or close to the same plan I have with Sprnt will cost about $70.00 a month more with AT&T. Worth Sprint I full data speeds in my home but with AT&T I can only get Edge coverage. Other than that, I like what I seen so far. Is there anyway to get a special rate for switching to get my monthly plan cost down? If I could I would be must more willing to make the move.

Me, that's who & I have valid reason.

As an Authorized Dealer of At&t, one of only a handful left, I am not able to Sell the I-Phone so I consistantly have people asking me all damn day about a product I don't carry, and after months of it being available I'm glad I don't.

This I-Phone Madness has got to stop! I have only been in the Industy for a year now and it didn't take long for me to figure out that Nokia and Sony have the Best Product out there, as far as features and performance.

The I-Phone was and still is a Hustle, it is not what it is cracked up to be when it comes to a mobile phone you can use all over the world.

So are any of you AT&T reps getting any of our Dobson Legacy customers? As an employee in a call center what good benefits do you guys get? Discount on your phone lines? Anything good? Yearly bonus?

Glad we got merged by you guys. I love AT&T and have had the service for 4-5 years. I'm excited to finally maybe get a discount on my lines. Plus maybe a chance to advance in the company.

I love Star Wars so I call the blue earth AT&T symbol the Death Star affectionaly. I def need some blue AT&T stickers.

I already have a family plan with two phones. Is there any chance I can add a phone to my account without buying a new phone? I mean, can I get another line (new SIM) without a phone and more importantly without a contract (or at least a reduced timeline of a contract).

I have working phones and would like to not add more lines half way through my current contract making the different lines on my plan have different contract ending dates.

I hate it when I get an incompetent rep! (My apologies to those who aren't.)

First I get scr3wed when some customer (don't)care rep handles a relocation on a family plan (2 lines) and does one line as a relo and the second line as an 'upgrade'. I saw nothing on my first bill after the relo to indicate that I'd been 'upgraded' and imagine my surprise when I'm out of contract and I go to an authorized retailer to buy two new phones and I'm told I can only upgrade on of them.

After several calls to customer (don't)care, I'm told that my account has been noted and that all I have to do is visit a corporate store and they can override the system and that they'd put notes to that effect on my account.

I go 20 mi out of my way to a corp ...
