fewest dropped calls.. enough!!

Cingular has sung that song waaaaay too much now. Cingular has finally been recognized for some kind of network acheivement, and the company goes ballistic about it and starts throwing parades for itself.

Fewest dropped calls, ok ok, so they were recognized for this one statistic of network reliability, out of lets see like a total of 10 statistics. But what about inneffective call attempts, area reception, voice feedback, or overall reliability? eeeeh, Cingular doesn't mention anything about those things, now do they?

My point is, Cingular should have received a trophy or something, and moved on. This single stat of fewest dropped calls that Cingular is announcing as if they've found a 2nd earth is getting irrita...

past bills?

Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase your own call history? I've lost a number from a while back, and I'm wondering if this is possible to do.

I know some people had been illegally purchasing others' history, so I'm guessing this isn't possible.

Thanks

Fantastic Merchadising Idea

So cingular has this great idea of putting these dangling ribbon things on the ceiling that hand down in front of childrens faces. They think they are the greatest things ever to play with. Problem is they keep pulling them down. Why on earth would cingular design something so fun to play with for kids and expect them not to be torn down.

Upcoming services

Are we allowed to talk about upcoming services in here?

There's one that we're already getting POP for, but no one knows anything about it and you can't download the application from MEdia Net yet either.

They didn't even give us a date to display the POP. I think people will really want it, cus it's already really popular, so it's frustrating that everyone is clueless about it!

Upgrade eligibility gone?!

Please help me understand this. I was eligible for an upgrade back in August, but am not eligible right now. I sent e-mail to CS and they told me to wait until the New Year (18mo out of 24) but never explained why I was eligible 3 months ago in the first place.

Should I call CS and tell them that I'd make it a point to use up all of my 7000 rollover minutes at peak time by that time? 👿

Can I switch from T-Mobile a week before contract expires?

Has anyone here switched to Cingular from T-Mobile shortly (couple weeks) before their contract expired? Cingular insists T-mobile won't care since it's so close to the end of the contract but I don't know...... Anyone?

Treo 750

I noticed on the phone specs that the 750 has WCDMA 850, WCDMA 1900 and WCDMA 2100. Does any one know if the american version will still sport the wcdma 2100? I believe this would be the first phone i have seen that offers high speed frequencies in both america and europe. All of the nokia smartphone i have seen to date didn't carry the wcdma 1900 making their high speed useless in the US.

Video Sharing Release date

Sorry if this is old new but on the LG CU500 if you go to your SETTINGS Menu and click on Call and scroll down you will notice a Video Share Option and have the ablitity to enable it

I have the newest firmware upgrade so I'm not sure if that option just became available or its been there since release but this I'm guessing has to be more proof that video sharing is coming out soon and that it will be available for this phone.

So do's anybody know about cingulars plans on this option or why its on the phone if the service isn't avialable?

a new cingular phone that can be programmed with special ring tones for forwarded land line calls

I'm a happy Cingular customer who needs a new phone. I have three separate land lines at my business that I ALWAYS ALWAYS forward to my
cell phone. I need a new cell phone that I can program to ring differently to indicate which of my LAND LINES a customer is calling, *not*
simply ring according to their "originating" number from which they're calling.

Can someone out there recommend the perfect phone for me? I need to upgrade right away and will appreciate any advice you can give! Thanks! 🤣
