I read that palm will be selling the new 680 on their site for 399.99 in all four available colors. I have no experience with treos and was wondering since it isn't set up with another service providers info how much this would affect use with cingular. I know that i could access the internet once the settings have been adjusted however will i be able to access services like mobi tv or media net on it? Would txt messaging be affected as well?

I just got the 8525 and Cingular supplyed the new sim card

and I was trying to save my Contact list to it in my 807 to that I can just put it in the 8525 and save to phone

however unlike my Motorola 557 I cant seem to find an option for save all to sim .. it has save all to phone but not sim

is there anyway to do this?

Any way to put that contact list on my 8528 other than maybe connecting the two via bluetooth and sending every contact one by one (i also dont see a send all via bluetooth)

would really appreicate your help I have alot of contacts and really dont feel like typing out 500 new entries

If you've ever surfed Letstalk.com, you know how great the deals are compared to what the retail stores offer. When we got my wife's Samsung D-807 it would have been $149 at the local Cingular store. She got it for free through letstalk. Next month, I'm going to be getting a W810i for myself and a W300 for my son. If I go to the local store, it will cost me $99 for mine and $20 for his. At letstalk, it will be $50 for mine and his is free.
My question is, are there ANY drawbacks to using letstalk vs. a retail store? So far, I haven't seen any.

When Cingular releases this phone, what colors will they release on the initial launch date? Please do not say blue like Suncom.

Hey everyone. I have a Samsung Sync and in my phone book next to a number that I call very frequently (also a cingular number) there is a Lighting Bolt looking symbol with a number "2" next to it? Any idea on what it is? It is only next to this one cell phone number, and like I said I call this number a lot and I use a lot of minutes on this number too (mobile to mobile of course! 🙂 ) Does that have anything to do with it?

I can't seem to get a straight answer from customer service.

Okay so I saw Casino Royale, and I have one bad thing to say about it…WHY DOES THE REST OF THE WORLD GET TEN TIMES BETTER CELL PHONES! This truly blows. Why do we get the short end of the stick on cell phones? And I know what you are saying; those are probably cell phones that are fixing to come out in Europe. And yet, THEY ARE STILL BETTER REGARDLESS. I truly hate American cell phones; they are butchered and toned down, just and ungodly sight. I guess the best thing to do is to go across the pond and get an unlocked phone because these phone suck, it’s like all the phones the American carriers have are like the Zach Morris phone to the European and Asian markets, its ridiculous. WHY OH WHY DO WE HAVE TO SUFFER LIKE THIS?
