PDA Connect or Unlimited MediaNet

I'm looking at buying either the Cingular 8125 or the Nokia E62 in the next week or so. Do I need to pay $40 for the PDA connect or Blackberry service, or can I get the same thing (and keep my text messages) for $30 with the hghest level of MediaNet service?

Can someone really explain???

What is the $18 charge for the upgrade for? For real not because or any of that crap.

You had me the box and expect me to change the SIM. I can go into the web sight myself and change what phone I have.

BTW Cingular is only 57 Million strong because of the AT&T acquisition not because they recruited that many people. (Can you hear my disdain?)

Could Somebody Help Me With This Frustration?

Good afternoon.

I've recently uploaded a few mp3 ringers into my V3 but I can't seem to get them as individual ringtones for the people in my phone book. Is it a waste of time, or do I have to do something so that they can be selected in the phone ringer menu in the contacts options?

Somebody help me out, please....

Cingular data options question

Hi,
I am at a point of considering switching from VZW to Cingular in order to get a better phone. However, I don't understand Cingular's data plans.
WIth VZ I can use WAP2 to surf the web using my free minutes on the weekends and during the evening. This plan costs me $5 per month. Can I do this with Cingular or am I limited to 5mb, or getting the $19 unlimited plan. I don't know if the unlimited plan is necessary for the phone I am considering, the Sony E. 810.
I don't care for VZ phone selection, but I would hate to lose a feature that I kind of like.

samsung a707's floating around

OK, so I know that some lucky people get their hands on phones early, but I've seen like 5 people with the A707 already!!! I saw a guy come into my store with one, then I saw a mother and teenage daughter come in with one. Then I saw a two while I was at lunch in the city.

Is this phone already approved and Cingy is just delaying the release or what?!?!

Potential New Handsets

Ok boys and girls, just got some new handsets on the November-December price list that I thought I would share. Some are known to be coming, others are new.

MOTO
KRZR
V3R (?)
V365

LG
CU400
CU500V

Samsung
A707

RIM
Pearl

Cingular
8525

Palm
680
750

HP
6925

As always, this is no guarantee of release dates or actual potential release of any of these handsets. But I am sure some of you will still assume they are coming no matter what I say.

HTC TyTN/Cingular 8525

OK, I'm getting really antsy about this whole thing. 2 questions for anyone who knows for certain: 1) Is there any question that what is shown under the "Phones/HTC" area on the left side of this website (HTC/TyTN/8525/JasJam/Hermes) is the phone that will ultimately be called the "Cingular 8525"? 2) If I bought a HTC TyTN on E-Bay or wherever, that says it is "unlocked", even if where I live does not have 3G/HSDPA coverage "today", can I use the device at EDGE speed now, until 3G migrates my way? So, on the assumption that the seller is truthful that the phone IS "unlocked", can anything theoretically go wrong, short or long term, coverage/usage-wise?

Does anyone have any info about when this phone will be released for Cingular? Will it still have WiFi?
