any ideas when this phone will be released for Cingular it looks little light than the regular treo's.

i dropped my cu500 at work and half the screen doesnt work.

what's my best option.??

1. call lockline and be without a phone for maybe a week and pay 50 bucks.

2. or go through warranty.. but i dont know how the long the warranty process will take..

on the front page of phonescoop, there is a pic of the verizon razr maxx. i cant believe that verizon will get this as well. cingular hasnt even released their Krazr yet, and verizon will be planning on their maxx launch? Cingular is getting rlly slow on releasing all their phones. they have nothing going for them in terms of equipment.

Ok so im sure this has been covered. I want to get a RAZR phone cause it has a much bigger screen than my nokia 6102.

Besides itunes, are there any big differences between the v3 and v3i?

Are the screens the same as far as size and brightness?

I really dont care about the itunes feature.

Hey Guys.. Is there any hope for another S60 phone for Cingular coming out soon? N75? anything? E50? I really want something in a better form factor then the E61/2. And I would really prefer not to have to pick up a Winblows mobile phone. I don;t have a problem purchasing an N series device or Eseries but I am up for renewal and could stand to save a few bucks if possible 😉

I have had many customers ask me this very question and have also read it in numerous posts on this website. Here is a few things that help decide it.

1) The price of the phone. If the phone is a $400+ retail price, it probably will not be insurable.

2) The availability and popularity of the phone. Phones like the SLVR and LG CU500 are not as common as a V557 or and LG C2000. I don't know how true this is, but it makes some sense. An insurance rep explained this to me when I processed a claim once. For instance, when the RAZR first came out, it was not eligible because it was around $500 and not many people had it. Eventually, it dropped in price (not enough in my book) and became "America's Favorite Cell Phone." Then, it became eligib...

I see the $50 rebate on the W810i is about to expire on Monday. Any word if the phone will have a deeper discount anytime soon? There were $100 rebates for about a day after its release, then it went up.

I need a cheap phone, something I can buy unlocked off of eBay. This is simply a second phone I need to slap a SIM card into so it need not be fantastic. It does need:

- flip phone
- color screen
- tri-band

this is for you customers visiting this site asking about purchasing unlocked phones. Something to consider when purchasing an unlocked phone is what kind of warranty you get with that device.

When you purchase a device from a cingular store you get a one year warranty. If you have issues with your phone cingular sends you a new device and you return your old one to them postage paid by cingular.

If you perchuse an unlocked device online you still can recieve a warranty on your device, however this is a manufacturers warranty. Meaning if you have issues with you device you must send it to the manufaturer(Moto, nokia, lG). You pay for postage. You do not get a phone directly mailed to you to replace your old one. so. new user interface for all cingular phones. all the same. displays all terms and conditions at power up and power off and you must enter the last 4 of account holder social at power up and a graphical icon if the phone is insured and new sims display CINGULAR in all caps after 25% of off network as a warning and once a month an auto message letting customer know of upgrade eligiblity.

I have never felt this way about a darn phone before 🤨 I am worried! 😕

I expect Cingular to add slightly more than 1.1MM net subscribers in Q3. This is lower than the Q2 net adds of 1.5MM, primarily because I think that churn may go up to 1.9% from 1.7% sequentially due to the managed migration of TDMA customers to GSM (existing TDMA customers will have to pay an extra $5/moif they do not switch to GSM). While the GSM network integration is behind it, Cingular is still working on the GSM billing system conversion and the legacy GSM prepaid sunset (both scheduled to finish by YE) as well as the TDMA billing conversion and Legacy TDMA prepaid sunset, which are scheduled to be done by mid-2007. As a result, I anticipate that churn may increase slightly near term but it should trend lower as we close 2007, helping...
