yea i turned 18 like about 4 months ago. I did a credit check with them I had deposit of $500 dollars and was wondering is there anyway i can lower the deposit or have no deposit and i dont want prepaid or anything that has to do with it. Plz i really hate t-mobile and i wanna get cingular. And if there policy is little bit softer. Or any deposit specials. I will paying up to 300 or 200 dollar deposit.

Now that the LG CU320 and Samsung ZX10, the first official 3g UMTS models are now listed here on Phonescoop, can we expect them this month or just any day now?

Also, does anyone know if Cingular Video service will be widely available in most if not all of Cingular's network? If not, hopefully those first two phone models would at least support MobiTV and MobiRadio in the meantime until 3g services are launched in other areas.

I used to work in the call center and I need to know how I can get my w2....I have recently moved, but the mail system in my area isnt always reliable with forwarding...I want to make sure I get my w2...but i dont know who to contact...I was a former blue employee...let me know ASAP, thanks

I signed a 1-year contract with Cingular last year in February. I have 2 phones on the account. I am wanting a different phone, because ours aren't working properly - dropped calls, terrible static (when I have 5 bars), phone acting funny. The website says that I'll be eligible for an upgrade on Jan. 12th......my question is, should I attempt to call the customer service line & get a different phone, or should/could I cancel this # and open up a new account under my wife's name (with an online retailer) and get the better phones that are only available with new activation? I sort of want to keep our same phone #'s, and would like to keep our rollover minutes. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it even be possible to open a new acc...

what i am wanting to know is exact thoughts on what people who owned the 710 and now own the w600 think of the phones in comparison.

any opinions from users of both are greatly appreciated.

i know the phone is smaller and has no external memory now but has more memory than the highest memory card you can by for the 710.

i also hear the screen is smaller and lowered in color quality how do you guys feel about that and does it really affect the phone in comparison to the 710.

and would you say this is an upgrade or downgrade compared to the 710.

any other opinions are greatly appreciated

I'm having wierd software problems. It just freezes up with a blank screen, and i have to take the battery out to restart. Power cycling doesn't help. The software version is 04.43 from August 28, 04.

If I do a lockline exchange, will I get another 6230 or would I just have to call and find out what they have in stock?

Thanks Shane for talking me out of an upgrade a week or two back. The P207 would have been a terrible choice to extend a contract on.

I have, in my hand, a brand new LG F7200. Our store just recieved two demo's in, and we have them throughout our entire company. I placed my SIM chip in it, and I'm delighted with the results.

Initially when I heard we were launching PTT, I wasn't too excited at all, because I never thought I'd find much use in it or appreciate it. But it turns out that it actually is much more convenient than I initially thought.

The only gripe I have is that my average initial connect time is around 7-8 seconds, much more than reports I've read on here of it being between 3-4.

Oh yeah, and I also don't really like the fact that I'm using an LG phone. I'd rather it be a Nokia.

Hi all I have a question I purchased A Samsung 357 ptt and wanted to return it for a Razr, when I did return it the rep said they did not have any and there was not any in Birmingham they were on back order so I settled for a Nokia 6102.
Saturday I called another store and they said they had some in stock, my question is if I return the Nokia 6102 how can I get the Razr? it will be my second return and my 30 days ends Monday, Need some suggestions.

is it expected that cingular get a good qwerty phone? Kind of like the Samsung SGH-D307? because ive heard that the samsung phone is junk. And the LG one? probley junk as well because it's delayed of software updates. I want a good phone kinda like the Sidekick II? any ones comming in 2006?

Is it just me, or has Media Net sucked since the improvements were made? "Your Media NetID cannot be verified" is a very common error along with "Empty Message!" when viewing an email. And don't get me started on the extra number of steps you now have to go through just to send a quick reply to a message. I've been really happy with Cingular after stints with Sprint and VZW, but this is really making me wonder if its worth the charge.

I just had to DOA 3 of these phones because they weren't recieving calls when in standby mode... at first I thought it could possibly be something with the 32k/64k sim but that wasn't it... I tried to recieve calls from both cell and land line and didn't get any of them to work... 😢 😢 😢

the launch phones in our area i think she said will be, LG 8100, MOTO V276, SAMSUNG 630, AND A FEW OTHER MID AND LOW ENDERS. when asked about the 9800 she laughed. so that means no. she said hold-out on that because the may get it a little later.
