Well, we've been having problems here at least for the past three months. We can't make or receive calls most of the time, getting errors like Call Failed or Network Busy. I was told that this was caused by someone shooting at a tower in Kingsville, TX and water leaking in. About 10 minutes ago, a rep told me it was due to a microwave on the tower or something like that, from all the evacuees coming in. That's fine, but here's the problem.

The Tech dept. doesn't know how long it's going to be until this is fixed, and we're just supposed to sit and wait till then? This isn't just affecting a few people, it's affecting everyone in Alice, Kingsville, Premont, Falfurrias, Hebbronville, and San Diego, TX.

Anybody got any suggestions on a good phone? I'm mainly looking for a phone that has a proven track record and that is fairly inexpensive. I'm willing to pay up to $100 for it but I have not had a good experience with the Z500a, which is why I'm looking for another one. You can read one of my previous posts to see all the problems I've with that phone. That phone is a piece of junk, but that is another story. I'm sort of partial to Nokia because I've had good luck with their phones for the most part. If anyone has any comments on Samsung or some Motorola's I'd like to hear them.

what is the big deal about the 32k sim card? I have the 6682, I thought the 64k was sposed to work better? I dont have any problems with my phone besides that it will not keep my contacts saved in the phone i always have to copy them.

The point of threads is to share information. All of this crap that you guyes have going on back and forth is ridicules. I can't even read an actual response. It's always trash talk. If you don't carry Cingular and all you want to do is insult it, do it on you own carries section. Quit waisting everyone else's time. These threads can be very helpful to people who need them. They are also submitted to companies for feedback and when you just "run your mouth" all the time, it gets old and pisses people off

Just wanted to give you a heads up that Cingular actually was given first right of refusal on the pink model and we turned it down. So, T-Mobile will be carrying the pink model. I was not provided more details on why we decided not to carry the pink model, but it most likely because there is very targeted/limited appeal for this color and it did not make sense to add this into distribution.

Hi, I have a new 64k SIM card (smartchip) for Cingular. Now I'm looking for a compatible low-budget phone (i.e., ebay). I can't seem to find a compatibility list or source, however. Can someone help me out with this? I want to take the phone and the smartchip to the cingular store and activate it for prepaid service.

Well the title says it all. My ROKR sucks. Now I am not complaining about the phone, when I bought this phone (the day it was realeased) I was not trying to replace my ipod, I knew the phone would be what it is. Nonetheless, my phone won't charge, it takes me up to 25 mins to get the phone to accept the charger....the phone won't connect to itunes, which leads me to think there is a short in the wiring or what not on the connector since the battery charger goes in the same place.....the phone never reads the sim card.....and i get dropped calls galore!

Now my question is, what do I do. Do I have the right to complain and demand a new phone? If so what will I get...I know what want!

I cant decide rather to wait to buy the razr 2 or the w600a? Which one would u buy an why. Comments like motorola sucks is not a awnser but a opinion.

Are there any COR employees out there that have received an official word as to when we are getting our SGH-D357 PTT phones, I know PTT is slated for release on 11/7. And was wondering if anyone had heard an official word as of yet?

Do you know whats about to happen to your pay? Here it is:

40% of your base salary will be "moved" to become "at-risk true-up" commission.

Example: Lets say your base salary is $40,000. Cingular is going to take 40% ($16,000) and divide it by 12 ($1,333). Your new base salary will become $24,000, and the $1,333 will be another type of monthly commission known as "true-up", however only if your store hits 100% of its revenue goals.

So, if your store hits 80% of its revenue quota, your "true-up" payment will then be $1,066, which will then be taxed at a higher rate since it will be categorized as commissions.

I hope this can help everyone in actually knowing what is going on with their tax deductions from their pay checks, whether they be base pay checks, commission checks, or bonus checks. I only used base pay and commission checks in my example but bonus checks would fall under the same explanation as commission checks in my example. The word commission and bonus are completely interchangable in this process.

I have encountered this every year when I do the tax returns for my family and friends (I have an accounting degree and have been employed in management and processing tax returns for about 5 years), and here is the real explanation, STATE INCOME TAX OR NOT!!!!!!!

I just received a new 6102 yesterday.
The phone keeps switching to a white screen when I toggle through the menus and place calls, anytime - it seems like when the cpu on the phone is lagging the video has a problem and it turns the screen white until the cpu catches up. It does it like every second or two.

Also when on the wallpaper picture or taking pictures with the camera - Any dark brown-reds that should be brownish in color, those few pixels are bright red and the rest of the colors are OK.

Do I have a lemon?
