Does anyone know when ATT will start offering the IPhone 3GS refurbished phones for sale?

So I never updated ATT with the E71x I just switched to from a BB Bold. Lo and behold, when I went to my ATT online account the E71x is now the phone online. Hmmmmmm. They also switched my data plan as well. I was under the impression that everyone who was on this site knew that this would happen, but when I read old posts all I hear is how if you don't change your IMEI ATT will never know what you are up to. I have just called your bluff.

Just a suggestion but if any of you are have signal issues in you area call cust. service and ask them to submit a network issue ticket so that they can update your service in your area.

Dont just complain about it do something about it because the more ppl say something about service in there area and how they have bad signal then more that they will look at that area and do something about. 😉

Is the Nokia 6200 known to get good reception?

I know generally speaking Nokia's get good reception.

my question is. on att web site it gives you a date when you are eligible for update, is that your 2 year date? or 22 month or 18 month date? not clear on that. i am trying to upgrade and they say i need to wait eighteen months and if the upgrade date is my two year mark, i am 20 months in contract.. any help is appreciated..

I've been an AT&T Wireless customer for 7 years, and in the past year AT&T wireless has become undependable, lost and failed calls constantly in the Austin area. AT&T says they've fixed it but a technician for AT&T tells me they've yet to implement the 800 MHZ here and won't have it up and operational until end of 1st quarter 2010.
People really need to raise hell with AT&T for such bad service. I've gone over to Boost Mobile for the past 7 months (having reduced my AT&T plan down to minimal) and I've had excellent Service with Boost Mobile ($50.00 unlimited voice/text/internet and it also includes all govmt taxes).

Sorry if I'm the zillionth person to ask this type of question. I couldn't find an existing thread that matched my question.

Let's say I get 4 phones on a family plan, (2)regular phones (non-PDS/smartphones) AND (2) Blackberry Bolds. Later I cancel the subscriptions for the (2) BB Bolds and pay the early cancellation fees (2 x $175), would I be able to use the SIM cards from the (2) regular phones in the BB Bolds??? Would the ATT system still detect the BBs and charge for data?

Call me crazy but my wife and I want to use BB Bolds for voice/texting AND for synching calendars, contacts etc. with our PCs via Outlook BUT we do NOT want to use the internet. YES, this is another attempt to NOT have to pay for data that we do NOT wan...

I still don't get a decent 3G signal or service in my neighborhood, Edge is solid so I turn off the 3G and use Wifi at home. I've noticed many existing AT&T sites are being upgraded to 3G (finally) and some new ugly palm tree towers being built in the east valley area. Hopefully AT&T gets their shiz together because the network in Phoenix metro has always lagged behind Verizon, Sprint, even Tmobile has way more cell sites and coverage than AT&T, which is just sad. AT&T doesn't have any 850 MHz spectrum in Maricopa county so they gonna actually have to build new sites to improve the crappy service

What the hell is wrong with you idiots? So many of you are looking for ways to use your smartphone on the network without paying for the required data plan because it's $30 a month - OH MY GOD! $30 whole dollars to receive unlimited data at high speed internet speeds on a device which was designed for exactly that. I have had a Samsung X497 for the past 2+ years and before that it was my mother in laws. Well my contract is finally (thank goodness) coming up and I need a new phone. I need something basically free with a contract and something that is at least a messaging phone. I have been struggling with my text messages for a long time now.

My RAE came by Friday and told me that Hawk electronics is no longer in the Dallas, Austin, ans San Antonio markets.

Anyone have any idea what happened and what might become of those customers?

I was just wondering other people's opinions especially those of you who work in the cellular business.....Why do customers seem to gripe and complain that they are with AT&T and they wish they were with Tmobile, Verizon, so on so forth? What is so funny to me is they will be the same ones 3,4,5 years down the line that go to another company and complain, complain, complain wishing they would have never switched.
