LG CE500 Music Phone coming this month?

There was a news article here on phonescoop back in July stating that LG was getting ready to launch a flip-style music phone for Cingular. Here's the link... https://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=12 84

Does anyone know if this phone might be released on Cingular this month, or anytime soon?

cingular gets the boot from the NY state BBB

Cingular gets the boot from the NY BBB

Related entries: Cellphones

It’s not exactly the end of the world for the nation’s largest wireless carrier when it gets the boot from one state’s Better Business Bureau registry, but it certainly doesn’t make for good press… like this article, for example. Apparently Cingular couldn’t figure out its 20 outstanding or unresolved complaints (of 200 total) over the past three years standing in the New York BBB, so they were immediately expelled. We have a feeling this won’t be enough to get them to change their ways, but it’s nice to know that all that whining about poor wireless service can accomplish… something.

porting number question

Hello all,

I have a question regarding a port that I am planning to do. I'm planning to port my number to Cingular, but I will be bringing my own unlocked GSM phone. If I join a plan, would I still have to pay an early termination fee???

Thanks.

cingular service in los angeles

hi there,

i just switched over to cingular from sprint yesterday and got the razr phone. i have been having some difficulty with crappy reception and am wondering if cingular good enough service for me to keep this 2-year contract. i know that verizon is the best in this city, but they are too expensive. has anyone had any good or bad cingular experiences in la? i work on the westside and live in koreatown, so i am all over the city.

What's going on with Cingular in South Texas?!?

So, I'm out of town all day and had no problems what so ever. As soon as I came back, bam! Signal's gone, can't make or receive calls for the life of me. I called, and they said there's no problems in the area (naawww, really?? phone's aren't working so they can't call in to see what's going on!). She sent a signal to my phone, I power cycled, and made a test call, that worked. She said, ok, if there's any problems, give us a call.

I stop to eat supper, go to return a call that I've been trying to do all day, and the same thing is happening again!. I call and get a "Call Failed" message. No, no network busy message, which would be understandable because of the recent events, but "Call Failed." And don't give me that that's the s...
