if so i believe a rom flash to the australian or european version would fix all the VZW locks on it.... what do u think ?

i don't see how that could NOT work once we had it flashed ....

...In a massive oversight, there's no pre-configured option for Gmail, and there doesn't seem to be a way to add an email domain not on the list, such .Mac for Apple or any other personalized domain...




I've been saying the same thing for ever now...
it's like at&t is completely taking an back step with every device they release. every phone has more at&t apps but is less customizable and they do there best to block you from adding anything to the phone. at&t used to represent innovation but now they are worse than verizon with restricting what customers do with their phones.

I just ordered one as I need internet access for my laptop.

Any feed back on the cards or the service?

I purchased the Refurb AT&T USBConnect Mercury.
If there's one that better I am willing to exchange. Just picked a free one to test out the service. There's plenty of coverage in my area.

Answering an inquiry from BetaNews about Wal-Mart's reputed plans to sell an iPhone 3G for $99, a spokesperson today issued a statement that neither confirms nor denies the rumors.

"We have made no official announcement on offering the iPhone at Wal-Mart," said spokesperson Kelly Cheeseman today, when asked by BetaNews for comment on published reports that the retail chain will start selling a 4 GB version of Apple's iPhone 3G for $99 just before New Year's Day.

When my two year contract is up, what are my options? Month to month, have to start a new one or two year? I can get a phone at Wally World or Sam's for less than at at&t, so if I get one and put my sim into it, will I get hassled by at&t? Will all the features work?

Does AT&T offer anything like Sprint's Family Locator Service?

The problem with using Sprint is that they provide no way to limit the phone usage and my next choice is AT&T.

Anybody know where I can have an at&t branded 6126 unlocked? A rep at at&t said he could enter the IMEI and easily retrieve the code, but that he would get in trouble. No need for that, so now it's time for plan B; whatever that is 🙂

Does anyone know if it's somehow possible to add a 6th line to a nationwide family talk that already has 5 lines? I know it's mentioned 5 is the limit everywhere you look but was hoping there's a workaround. I have a State of Florida FAN on my accont and have 5 lines already, I REALLY need to get a 6th phone. Corporate stores around me are hit & miss as far as knowledgable reps....

I think this is the newest and official update to os 4.5 for blackberries.

Anybody had any experience with imate phones? I know they are all windows, but I was wondering how they handled, reliability, reception, etc. Any review info would help.

Just to anyone who cares.... ATT is doing pretty well as far as progress on the 3G network goes in Maryland. They are beginning to move farther west into the hills and it won;t be long until they get to mountain Maryland. Right now 3G coverage is getting near Hagerstown and is being completed in Frederick and eastern Washington counties. According to someone who works at the main ATT store for Cumberland (actually in LaVale), which is my coverage area (Allegany County), they have been told that ATT will be bringing the 3G network to the area between late spring and early summer 2009, so yes, we will actually be getting 3G! 😁

so i heard about chacha when it was first starting and was free.

my g/f has at&t service as well, but when she txt chacha it informed her of a .99 fee for each question...

so at&t promotes chacha and is helping it grow, but is it still a .99 fee for messages? because i never got that charge when i first started using it.
