customer changing carriers???????

Do customers really believe that Cingular has better service, or is it just the advertising of the roll over min or the raising the bar that is getting them to migrate? My cousin works for Cingular and he tells me since we started to offer the two year contract, they are taking more customers from us, do you find that to be true, we pretty much have the same amount of coverage and phone selection, share your thought with me.

Hand set exchange.

I am getting customers coming with replacements phone, from hand set exchange with lots of issues, it seems the refurbishing is not fixing what was wrong, and do you see the same issues in your stores.

Will Tmobile respond to MetroPCS unlimited talking plan for $40?

I live in Michigan and am a current Tmobile customer on a family plan, 3 lines and 2K mins.

On the Radio (and just noticed a billboard on the way home) MetroPCS is offering cellphone plans for $45 a month unlimited talk time. No nights/weekends/premium hours.

How (will) Tmobile respond?
They used to have the best plans but MetroPCS just pulled a fast one. Unless im reading the offer wrong.

Comments please.

8700g vs. MDA...Thoughts/Opinions?

I've been presently doing the research for getting a new phone, one with extras like 'net access, IM, email access, and had narrowed it down to the MDA. I didn't pull the trigger on it yet though because I've read (on this board and other places) of the average/below avg. phone signal/sound quality of it (it's not consistent, but again, that's why we read msgs on the board, yes?).

So, out comes the 8700g.

Does anyone have any information on a comparison between these 2 devices?

Basically, looking for a great phone that can handle PDA "stuff" like the above. The MDA and 8700g are all I've seen so far, so any info'd be greatly appreciated.

Also, to throw another wrench into the discussion, I'm cool with waiting a few months for a...

Samsung t609

We got our dummy T609's today. They look nice. But i definitely think that Samsung is trying to target the female market. Since it's white. But it has a lot of features. Camera/video, mp3, bluetooth. I may just test it out! when we get our demo that is.

Calling all T-mobile reps: a series of questions (long)

Hello all, I need some help and with the quickness, please (I'm running out of trial time with my current carrier). Grab a cup of coffee, this is a long message. 😉

I live in the northern Indiana area (South Bend Metro area). In the past 1 1/2 months, I' a former Centennial Wireless customer (great coverage here, terrible cust. service & services). I've tried Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile & I'm currently with U.S. Cellular, but would like to switch back to T-mo. I didn't stick it out w/ them because of the AIM issue and absolutely HORRIBLE in-store customer service, of which I'm still fighting to get my refund on the phone I purchased (if anyone can apply pressure to a non-corporate store to expedite this, please let me know)....

Is this really true?

I work for a Cingular Agent company but I kept my tmobile phone (personal preference). I wanted to know if TMobile has any kind of agreement with Cingular to use some of Cingular's towers? If thats true then I'm never gonna switch to Cingular no matter what my coworkers say.

question about coverage and contract

i'm currently a verizon wireless customer and i'm going to college in august in laramie, wyoming...my question is, i know that t-mobile has service available in cheyenne, wy which is about two hours from laramie, if i were to get a t-mobile phone in cheyenne, get a cheyenne number and then use the phone in laramie would that be a violation of the contract? i know that t-mobile has no roaming fees and stuff like that, but since they don't have native coverage in laramie would it be possible to continue my service there? i'm really not a fan of verizon and t-mobile is alot cheaper for a soon-to-be poor college student, any thoughts?

T-Mobile and Carlotte, North Carolina

I currently live in Ft. Lauderdale and I have been using T-Mobile for about 2 months. I have one year contract and so far I have been happy with them. I just found out that I will be moving to Charlotte, NC and I noticed that T- Mobile does not offer service anywhere in the state of North Carolina. Only trhough the roaming feature. Basically I will be roaming all day long and I am not really sure how the service will be. WIll they be using the GSM towers from Cingular? At any rate, the contract also says the mobile to mobile feaute might not even work, which means that I will be using my anytime minutes. What do I do? WIll they let me break the contract if I am not getting the service or will I be alright? Will I be better served by another ...

How Long do I HAVE to wait...?

Hi....
I'm thinking about switching from T-Mobile to Verizon...maybe. I LOVE T-Mobile's unlimited plan, $14.99 for Video, Text, Pix, and I.M., it's the best. No other company offer's it and thats why I stay. However, I think I'd like to get the SideKick 3. How long do I have to wait? Is there any set release date? Price?

Thx

Stolen phone

Is there any site or any place where I can get a GSM serial number disabled? My phone was stolen last month. Being as ditzy as I am, I didn't know if it was misplaced, so I put off suspending my phone for a couple of days to see if I could find it. I kept checking the web for any min usage, and there was none. Turns out it was stolen, and the day before I got it suspended, the theif decided that stealing MY phone that *I* paid for wasn't enough, he had to purchase a game and 4 ringtones, totalling $11.45. I know, it could have been worse, but I am still pissed. I find it hard to believe that T-Mobile can't disable a phone, since the tower picks up the serial number of the phone when you make a call, but I know they don't as of yet. I ...
