Motorola has filed for a patent on a new type of silent alert for mobile devices. Noting that vibrating alert is not truly silent, Motorola has proposed a system that uses mild electrical stimulation instead of a vibrating motor. The user wears a device that can deliver a mild electric charge next to the skin.

this almost sounds like a joke but it is very serious.... i wonder if anyone with pacemakers will get his..... or a little kid or use it for "stinulation" this is crazy, ignorant at best

Does anyone know if/when T-Mobile will ever offer their individual plans with FREE mobile to mobile as part of the plan? Cingular and Verizon have mobile to mobile included in their plans but nowhere near the amount of minutes. I am well aware T-Mobile offers the most minutes right now on any plan for the price compared to Verizon or Sprint or Cingular however I was just curious if any reps or insiders know of anything coming down in the near future? That is one area T-Mobile is lagging in I believe. Yes, I am also aware it can be added on for $6.99 a month, but why add it on if it can be free within a plan like the other carriers? Any insights????

Who else here is eyeballin' this phone. Im seriously thinking about getting it for myself and that review does look promising. So, who's with me? 😁

I been taking numbers form Cingular, Sprint and Verizon, to activate on T-mobile can any one tell me how many customers do we get from these carriers and how many we loose in return to these carriers per quarter. Thank You

I have a couple of questions as i want to buy a new sidekick 2 from t-mobile:

1. Can i Add an Email account for my school through Microsoft Web Access. I go to Cal State University, Fullerton and they give us an email we check through Microsoft Web Access ends with @students.fullerton.edu i was wondering if i can add that to my sidekick to check my email on my sidekick from teachers etc, not sure if its a POP or IMAP email account?

2. Is this phone REALLY worth buying if im using it for school also to check all my info out for school and stuff like that or should i get some type of windows-based phone

Anyone out there have Tmobile? Want to know if the service is good there. Moving there in a few months. Any response would be appreciated.

Does anyone know where this plan is actually in effect? Tmobile won't allow me to buy the plan in Houston, rather I only get the 1000 minutes for $39.99. Is there any way to negotiate the higher plan, or perhaps a better time when they will actually offer the plan?

So I was playing with my Moto v330 and looking through my videos, when I noticed a T-Zones "New Videos" link. Apparently, people with V360s, V3 RAZRs and PEBLs may also have this link too.
Every time I navigate to this link, it takes me to a T-Zones link that states "Coming soon!". I have sent this off to T-Mobile proper as a question and recvd no response. I have also looked everywhere in our internal systems with no success.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT WHAT NEW VIDEOS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE? MUSIC VIDEOS? VIRAL VIDEOS? ESPN??

The T709 looks to be making its way through the FCC now. There wasn't a lot of information for it yet. But the first PDF file did note that information like the external photos and the owners manual are still confidential information.

From what I have read this could be a great phone, solid feature set (minus the bluetooth (what gives?)). Decent looking with a nice screen, even though it isn't nearly as slim as the t809, for offering up the wifi it should be a hit. I'm thinking that it will start in the $300 range. If T-Mo gets it right...
