My daddy is a minute nazi!

Okay, so currently I'm on my daddy's T-mobile account. Every single month we have to have a talk about me using to many minutes, even though I swear I don't! Whatever, it doesn't matter, they're split between him, myself, my step-mom and my sister.

Well, my step-mom talks on her phone like a million hours a day. I'm getting really tired of my daddy complaining because I use like 200 daytime minutes a month. Big effing deal.

Anyway, so I just recently turned 18, and got my first job. Considering my father pays for my tuition and my car and I have nothing better to spend my money on than shoes, why not get my own phone plan? The thing is I really want to keep T-mobile and my Sidekick. I obviously have no established credit to speak of.

Comparing...

I have a Sidekick 2 right now, and I love it, but I'm really wanting a more... um... natural, shall I say?, looking phone. I really like RAZRs. How would anyone compare the two. I know they have simliar applications, and the only thing I can see different between the two majorly is the fact that I'd be giving up a keyboard. Anyone have ideas?

T-Mobile Absolute Worst Company I've ever dealt with

T-Mobile is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. They must have paid a high price for those JD Power's Awards because it simply isn't true. Briefly, ordered an SDA, sent to wrong address, their typo, I paid overnight and had to work with UPS to find the package and get it re-delivered. Then the SDA deleted the e-mails on my ISP Server (Adelphia.net) when it went looking for more mail. Gone! I lost about 30 emails, unrecoverable. I complained and arranged to return the phone, they talked me into a T809 (Samsung). OK, I guess I really wanted to be a T-Mobile customer, so I took the bait and had them overnight the new phone...it's now 4 days later, still no phone, and I'm on the phone 2.5 hours while they research what in the...

Why same screen for SK3 Sharp?

Dear Sharp,

Why would you not improve the screen for the SK3. It is identical to the SK2. I think even with all the changes this is really gonna turn people away. Especially since the 8700 and the MDA screens are so much better. Any one else think this is big mistake???

cricket, they are coming to houston jun 1st i saw this on a site part 3

Reason I went with Cricket since Feb. 19, 2001 are as followed:

A second phone for my children to be able to contact me in which my main cellular would eat up;
Giving a new company a chance;
Unlimited time for surrounding area.

Not until recently I can see way Cricket isn't up to pare in their Customer Service Department. To the rep's writing into Rip-off Report, I'm in your home territory it's a shame that you are being paid for a job that you are not qualified to handle, that you were hired for, since you have the free time to go on-line to make your heart warming plea for the same business that hired you. When you as the rep. could be actually be on the phone helping your clients.

As to the Rep's stating their grounds, not all...

cricket, they are coming to houston jun 1st i saw this on a site part 2

2.

this is a letter I wrote to one of there so called Customer Service specilists. I think that it speaks for itself.

Hi,
My name is Christopher and I am a Cricket customer in Winston-Salem, NC

I just recently uprgraded my phone from worn out Motorola c341 to a new Xcursion. I also added Cricket Clicks to my account. I researched the different phone models that you have offer and after a call to kyocera's tech department, I was told that the Xcursion was the most compatible phone with cricket software that kyocera makes. So I decided and about a week later i had my new phone. after adding the cricket clicks to my service I
went to the catalog. It only took me a moment to realize something was wrong because I only had access t...

cricket, they are coming to houston jun 1st i saw this on a site part 1

Can you guy let me know if all the problems customers are having with cricket is based on their customer care or is it their service?

😁

Guess the jury is still out! When Cricket first came to the Scottsdale area I thought it would be perfect for my teenager to have her own cell phone. We got a deal where I think the phone was $69.99 & $32.00 a month. My daughter and I had an agreement that part of her allowance would go towards her phone. She faltered a couple of times and I would have to call and re-activate the service. But that the deal RIGHT? That's what Cricket is all about? It is called PRE-PAID! Usually re-activation was not a problem. The best part was since CRICKET was new, you could actually speak to a live person.

The fewest dropped calls

A new national advertising campaign from Cingular claims the company has the fewest dropped calls of any wireless carrier. The company is offering little backup for its claim, which runs counter to other studies and the advertising of competitors. Sprint says "No one has a more powerful network in Boston," and Verizon calls itself "America's most reliable wireless." Who's telling the truth?
By Bruce Mohl, Globe Staff | April 23, 2006

Cingular Wireless is running ads everywhere saying it has the fewest dropped calls of any cellular phone carrier, but what's missing from the massive campaign is evidence to back up the claim
In its print, TV, radio, and billboard ads, Cingular says ''the leading independent research company " concluded C...

T-Mobile FIVE all you need to know

-First off I would like to Thank Alltel for trying to compete with the FIVE by creating a top ten calling plan.

-But everyone, lets understand the reason's why the FIVE Killz the competition. Just so everyone knows the cheapest plan you can have with the "Ten" is going to be 59.99$ a month T-Mobile will start out the FIVE Plans at 49.99$ a month.

-The Five is actually not just a calling plan, because only certain phones will be FIVE capable. T-Mobile's phone line up will be 85% FIVE compatable by November 06. Every FIVE compatable phone will have a software option that makes the phone revolve around that particulars customer top FIVE.

-The FIVE is... The top five numbers that the customer wants to have unlimited calling, text, vi...
