OMG! T-Mobile, I love you!

I just got off the phone with customer service. I had to call in to pay off the balance on my old account. I had a family plan, but I changed it over to an individual plan. I owed a little bit on the old account but there are overage charges on there but they were not accurate, and I knew this because the rep told me so when he fixed my accounts when I changed plans. So what happened today is that since I had some confusion, she is giving me 50 bonus minutes every month until my contract expires next May. So now I get 350 Whenever Minutes with Unlimited Weekend Minutes for just 29.99 a month!!!!

T-Mobile, you are indeed the best carrier out there. To the T-Mobile reps and employees: Big hug and pat on the back for all of you!

Anybody in Orlando?

If so, we're test marketing a new rate plan, 39.99 for 1500 (NOT a typo!) whenever minutes nationwide, no included nights or weekends. N/W can be added for 10.00/month. This is promotional and requires a one year contract agreement.

Sure hope this one flies well so it gets migrated out, because it's a bomb plan. Currently 1500 N/W is 79.99, this would be one heck of a savings... 😳

Tmobile usa's second quarter 2005 earnings.

Average Revenue Per User ("ARPU," as defined in the footnotes to the Selected Data, below) was $54 in the second quarter of 2005, the same as in the first quarter of 2005 and slightly down from $55 in the second quarter of 2004. Data services revenue growth continued in the second quarter, and now represents 8.2% of postpay ARPU, compared to 7.6% in the first quarter of 2005 and 5.0% in the second quarter of 2004.

Does anyone know why T-mo doesn't have any Samsung phones with voice activated dialing? Anything coming in the future?

Samsungs for other carriers have had voice dialing forever.

T-mobile, number portability question

I got a question that hopefully someone can answer. I have been with tomobile for 7 months now and i switched from Att/cingular when they merged. Loved att and hated the new cingular and ran into a lot of problems with my account that took about 4 months to solve. They just love to charge even though u didnt get anything from them and their customer service that closes at 9pm, which is very convenient by the way, is the dumbest and most unhelpful people in the world. Anyway enough venting, I like t-mo service thus far since i stay mostly in major cities and coverage seems to be okay for me but the t-mo shaky future got me thinking. My cell number is very important for me and i had it since '98, and dont want to lose it whatsoever. If t...

A T-Mobile USA deal value likely to lag peers

http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompanyNewsArti ... »

some snipits:

"The No. 4 US mobile provider's parent Deutsche Telekom AG (DTEGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) expects to make a decision by year-end between putting T-Mobile USA up for sale or spending billions of dollars to expand the unit, according to recent reports.

"I think $30 billion is pushing the envelope," said Legg Mason analyst Chris King who sees $22 billion to $25 billion, or six times to almost seven times analyst estimates for 2005 EBITDA of $3.7 billion, as a more likely price for T-Mobile USA.

T-Mobile USA's valuation has to take into account its requirements for heavy investments in wireless airwave...

Let me know the facts...

Just as a curiousity, I read in some other forums that Cingular will not let T-Mobile use their towers anymore at the years end.

Has anyone else heard this and is it true?

Like I said, I read that somewhere but have not found any evidence of it, so if you reply, please point me in the direction factual documentation.

Thanks.

Need Moto v360!

Ok, need is a little strong. But I want to renew my T-mobile contract and am waiting until this phone is released. Is there any new info on a release date? I have heard Aug/Sept. Is there anything more precise than that? Thanks.
