HELP THE PEOPLE IN NEW ORLEANS!

Hey for all of you that work in a call center...I was reading in the lounge and someone had a good idea. You know how you get points for being late and stuff like that? Well yall should organize a drive where if you bring in a case of water or food then you get 1 point back up to 5 points and everything is sent to NO. Please relay this on to your supervisors. I feel really strongly about this...These are AMERICANS DYING!

"-Mobile Expands US Roaming Contract

The USA rural GSM network operator, Centennial Communications says that it has entered into a new long-term roaming agreement with T-Mobile USA. Centennial Communications customers benefit from the ability to roam on T-Mobile USA's nationwide GSM/GPRS network. T-Mobile customers benefit from expanded network coverage in Indiana and Michigan, as well as Louisiana and Mississippi. Additional terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

"We're excited to provide an enhanced GSM customer experience in our U.S. markets," said Michael J. Small, Centennial's chief executive officer. "Historically, we've had only a limited roaming relationship with T-Mobile USA, ...

to T-moblie company people. any sign of HP HW6500 's ?

I'm sorry if this was asked. It seems cingular will have it next month. I hear posters are in stores now.

Some of the rumors I hear are that T-mobile has some windows based devices by HTC in Q1 of '06.
So will T-mobile not consider HP and cozy up to HTC for the near future? Especiailly since I've been told they are just going to let the stock run out of current HP products.

I guess if you don't have a launch packet for the new HP 6500's by now then it's not going to happen soon.

I know the device has some flaws like all but it's pretty cool. What other windows combo PDA/phone device has GPS with a keyboard?

Aesthetics or Technology

I've been waiting all summer for something to come out for T-Mobile that I really want. Originally, I was really happy with the concept of the V3, mostly because of aesthetics mind you. And now the promise of the PEBL, again for aesthetics. I'm thinking maybe I should go with the V360. But then again, not the nicest looking phone. Yes I know they are all Motorolas. But unlike most people, I have had bad experiences with Nokia and good experiences with Moto. Go figure. So I am wondering. Should I go with the looks of the phone and get a PEBL or V3. Or go with the features and get a V360. Aesthetics or Technology anyone?

New voicemail as old problems

I have been switched over to the new voicemail system since last week. I'm in Europe at present and I'm still have the same old voicemail problem when traveling. While overseas, if I leave my phone on and don't answer a call, the caller doesn't go into my voicemail. Instead, the caller gets a message, "Welcome to the T-Mobile messaging center. Please enter the 10 digit number of the person you're trying to reach." Since most of the people calling me are calling from their cell phone address book or speed dialing from the office and don't have the number at hand, they don't know my 10 digit number. Hence, they can't leave a voicemail.

I was assured by T-Mobile that this problem would be fixed with your new voicemail system.

A friend of mine have phones that can be used as MP3 players, Now can those also be used as ring tones? and if so how do you or can you send mp3 files to your cell phone? New Handsets!?!?!?

I have heard through a couple people internally that we have a coule new handsets coming. I have not been able to find any information on the folling phones. Anyone know anything please let me know. This is the wireless industry so nothing is postive unless it has already happened.

I have heard about an HP device with the nickname "wizard" I am almost 100% sure that we will carry an HP device late this year. We are continually training reps on the HP 6315 to make sure they are HP familiar. We would not do this unless we had such plans.

The othe is an replacement for the Blackberry 7100t. This one will feature larger send and end keys, a day mode for ease in daylight. Rumored to be 5x brighter. Also a more durable external body...

GSM 850 Roaming in NE Arizona!!! Woohoo

T-Mobile is now allowing you to lock onto Cellular One of NE Arizonas excellent GSM 850 coverage although it doesnt show it on their coverage locator yet.Now I get more minutes and GSM coverage almost as big as Verizons footprint here in AZ. You do have to have a phone that has the GSM 850 band though, but I just got a RAZR so Im good.

...gets alot of returns on the 3220? I feel like this phone gets returned more than anything else. Never seems to be a specific technical problem...people just don't seem to like it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happening.

How to get best price on a phone upgrade?

First off, let me say that I'm not EXPECTING to be treated special nor do I EXPECT to receive pricing different than is listed on the t-mobile web page.

I have a V60 that I've been using for 3 years and the antenna recently broke, or half broke. I still get somewhat of a signal and the stub is hanging on by some coil. I'm trying to hold out for the 6101 but I may get a V3 since there's no ETA for the 6101.

My question is, what are my options to get the best pricing on this phone. I don't want to be deceptive like some people and call claiming that I want to cancel or anything, I just want to know my options.

I was told that if I order the phone by calling 611 it will be $249 (minus a $50 MIR) and that if I don't like it I can ret...
