What is with Tmob lately?

I called Tmobile yesterday to see if I could "Get More" minutes and was completely shocked by the answer I received from what I thought was a reasonable request. Currently I've been with tmobile for a little over a year. I'm no longer in a contract with them, and I have a pretty small plan with them. I only have the basic plan with preferred nites for $2.99, 300 text plan, and unlimited tzones. All in all my monthly bill with tax runs around $36.
I wanted to upgrade my plan to the "Get More" ($39.99) plan 600 anytime minutes w/unlimited nite and weekend minutes. Get the new messaging bundle for $4.99 and keep my tzones for $4.99. I don't want a new phone and didn't ask for one, but I also don't wanna have to be in another 12 month c...

Upgrading - am I getting the best price?

I've been a T-Mobile customer for 3 years now, having first joined in 2002 with Voicestream. I've been using a Motorola P280 the entire time, but the time has come to upgrade.

I called yesterday to obtain upgrade prices on two phones - the V330 and RAZR. The P280, at the time I purchased it, was top of the line, so I wanted to replace it with one of the current (ok, for RAZR, almost current) top phones. I was shocked at the upgrade price - $219 for the V330, $279 for the RAZR, plus a 1 year contract! I was uneligible for any rebates because I am a current customer.

Am I not speaking with the right customer service person? The "retail" price of those phones is listed as $199 and $249, respectively, on the T-Mobile web site. I would have...

No More Renewals

From an independents Store's point of view, there seems to be a dark cloud forming over Tmobile. From the flurry of rumors of them being sold to them just up and going out of business in about in a year; I never paid any attention.

I however have to reconsder my stand point, as it was announced and confirmed that Tmobile will NOT be paying commissions out of upgrades starting August 1st. Hell I might as well put up a sign saying that my store is a Tmobile Port-out center.

I don't understand why they would do that, there just doesn't seem to be any logic in it. No pay-off in the California Market means that they are asking for it. Asking for people who want phones on upgrade to just port to another carrier.

If anyone has any clue to...

Tmobile and Amazon question for Tmob reps

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0008F ... »

I'm interested in getting two MotoV330's with the $75 back rebate.

However, I want a family plan and I don't see that amazon offers them as a choice (unless I'm just totally missing it).

Is it possible to buy them separately (and get the rebates) and then merge onto a family plan?

Will this mess up the rebate?

Thanks

Nokia To Deliver HSDPA Solution To T-Mobile

http://www.cellular-news.com/story/13788.php »

"STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Finnish mobile communications company Nokia Oyj (NOK) Wednesday said it has signed an agreement with T-Mobile International AG (TMO.YY) for the delivery of its upgrade solution for third generation wireless technology to T-Mobile in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. "

Hmm. This is quite interesting, because they will launch it in those markets but will they launch it in the United States market and if so will it be to late?

Any opinions?

T-Mobile will be in the top 3 Cellular Companys by 2007

I have read many threads on here about why Tmobile will soon go out of business and here is my rebuttle.

1) JD Power & Associates. 2004 and 2005 Award for best overall customer care. Tmobile ranking at 105, top of the list.

2) Upforth and coming Edge technology, replacing GPRS which will enable faster data transfer and clearer calls.

3) Marketing towards younger populous, creating nothing but growth for Tmobile and spending more money per account.

4) Targeting Larger citys where more people will be using their phones. This is where the majority of the population is in the US. All bigger cities, ex. Seattle, Chicago, NY all are major Tmobile cities. This also enables Tmobile to spend it's revenue in areas where people actually U...

How many people here have GSM Phones which r not sold by T-Mobile

i just wanted to know how many people have phones that are not sold by T-Mobile. Since T-mobile is 1900mnz frequency i buy factory unlocked phones. One cool thing about T-Mobile which Cingular lacks is that all gsm phones are 1900 but Cingular runs on the 850/900 mhz. I have a Sony Ericsson phone, the K750I, which is awesome.

New here and some T-mobile customer questions!

😁
Hi everyone!
I've just come out of lurkdom. I've been surfing the site since I started working for a wireless provider. lol. I don't think I should really say who. It's not T-Mobile and I'm sure I could get busted if I disparrage them..;)

Anways, I've been with T-Mobile for quite a few years and have really not had a lot of issues. I don't go to small cities so the coverage is never an issue. I usually go to California in all the big cities. I live in Seattle though. Usually never have a problem.

So what made you choose T-Mobile? For me it was the fact that my sister and my mom were on it. Easy to connect with them.

I'm on the 39.99 1000 min N&w plan. I really don't use that many minutes but it's cheap. I've also got the nok...

It's A Good Thing I'm Broke Anyway

I keep waiting and hoping that T-Mobile will get a phone that I want, but so far I just keep waiting. Don't get me wrong I like the V330 and the V3, but they aren't what I am looking for. Hopefully something will come out sooner rather than later. My contract has been up for some time and I would really like to upgrade.
