If i have too many minutes and i want to change to a lower plan will tmobile charge me or extend my contract? i opened my plan about a week ago

Last summer I tested out T-Mobile and my area had virtually no reception (i live in NJ, zip code 08880) so I went back to Verizon. I just checked it out again on the T-Mobile website and it seems like the coverage has increased. Not by a massive amount, but it seems to have gone up 1 or 2 "shades" which indicates how strong the coverage is.

Has anyone else noticed this? And for anyone who has T-Mobile within my area, have you noticed a coverage increase?

I have poor in home coverage with T-Mobile and I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for a repeater, reputable sites or just to point me in the right direction. I am not interested in UMA/Hotspot@Home or switching carriers, those are not options.

So, if I got the Katalyst, would I be able to access wifi internet and surf the web using wifi for free? or is it only set up to make VOiP calls with hotspot add on?

I'm looking to start service with T-Mobile. I have been looking at the Curve and the Wing. I have had a Blackberry 8830 with Verizon so I know more or less what to expect with the Curve. I have had no experience with the Wing or Windows Mobile devices. How do the two compare? How do the cameras compare? Obviously they both have the same resolution, but that doesn't mean the picture quality is the same. I like the form factor of the Wing better, but if Windows Mobile is as bad as some people make it out to be, I'd probably just go with the Curve. Can anyone give me some input on both phones and a rough comparison of the two?

From wha I understand the BB unlimited add-on feature gives you access to e-mail and internet. However, when I open up my broswer it goes to t-zone (I'm assuming), then when I select Web, it says that I need to subscribe for a monthly of 5.99.

Have I mistaken something about the "internet" part of the service?

I'm seriously considering going back to AT&T. I'm a die hard fan of T-Mobile due to their great rate plans, cheap data plans, and great customer service.
Although they are late to the 3G table and even when it gets rolled out in my area I'll have to search high & low for a decent phone with T-Mobile's odd ball 3G frequencies (1700/2100). Witch also will only work in the US.
Second AT&T some how while being a GSM carrier as well has 100% better coverage than T-Mobile.
So the speeds of EDGE are fine for what I do. I think T-Mobile should admit they missed the boat here in the US and skip the 3G and work on expanding there network.

Well, I think im making the switch to t-mobile today. Im just tossed up on what phone to get....

Hello. I just recently recieved my BB Curve. I'm on the 300min/ 29.99 plan + the 9.99 hotspot@home services. In the set-up wifi app it says that i can use UMA Wi-fi connections to send and recieve e-mails and text messages, make calls (obviously), and visit webpages.

I've been told that I have to have a data plan for e-mail, which I'm not too concerned about. I was however, wondering if i can send text messages free of charge?

when i start a call on UMA, sometimes the phone switches back to edge and i drop the call, any advice

I wanna get T-Mobile again as a second line. I can get an MDA really cheap, but am wondering if there are any new Windows Mobile pocket pc's coming out? The Wing is nice and all, but the memory blows (26.6 MB of usable memory)!

How much are 23+ month customer upgrades for the following phones?

Nokia 6133, Moto Razr V3, Sidekick Slide, Blast, BB Pearl, W490, and the nokia 6086??

I ordered a T-mobile Wing through the sales department in October for $99.999+tax on an added line. The amount was to be put on my next bill. I recieved the phone but the device was defected so i sent the phone back for exchange a few weeks later but the price on the phone had gone up to $129.99+tax. The sales dep said they would honor the original price since i hadnt recieved that bill yet. I recieved the new phone around Nov 20th and on the Oct-Nov bill i recieved a charge for $99.99+tax. I paid for that charge like I was supposed to but on my Nov-Dec bill in Jan there was another charge for $129.99+tax but on a line a didnt order a phone for. I have called in, been transferred, or "lost the call" numerous times since then with custcare. I...

How complicated is it to Unlock and Iphone to put on T-mobile??? Also If I get one unlocked what kind of changes do I need to make to get everything working on T-Mobile network???

I just got my dash last week and i love it! but my question is, does anyone know of any good programs or trusted free programs available to windows mobile 6 users? I just feel like i could load it up some more and make it killer. Thanks

first and formost i like to say that tmobile cust reps are my personal heroes cause i also work as a cust rep, and i am not as nice as every tmobile rep i have gotten. im not rude or anything of that matter but they call, i do what they ask me and thats it, tmobile reps engage you in conversation and all sorts of nice stuff. i cannot be that nice 10 hours a day

secondly, im about to upgrade to a sidekick lx, and would like to know how 3g will affect that phone. will it work? and i use all the functions on 3g? will there be certain phones only that can work with 3g? and lastly what is 3g? he he.
