Secure Connection Problem

I am using the Curve and UMA. Lately I am getting the following message. You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted.
I have four choices:
Continue
Close Connection
View Certificate
Trust Certificate

I have been clicking on continue several times and it works. When I click on Trust Certificate I get a message wanting my key store password. I don't have a password stored that I know of.

Any help will be appreciated.

Applications

Why does T-Moible not have any applications such as navagation, or streaming music? I used to have Nextel and they have similar if not slower data speeds, and they could support it so why?

nokia 6263

So I've basically only been getting what seems to be GPRS speeds on my Nokia 6263 in Chicago, which is a 3G phone. I know the network isn't activated yet, so it's still only operating on the EDGE network, but 30-70kbps, what's up with that? I've tested it everywhere, including where I would use my dash and the dash would get between 150-200kbps, but this phone I get 70, 56, 35, etc. It kept going down till it consistently got between 30-55kbps. I've tried speaking with T-Mobile and they keep saying that they don't see a problem and can't understand how I would know and stuff like that. THey had me contact Nokia because they said it should be a manufacturer problem. Nokia said contact T-Mobile cause it's a T-Mobile problem. I think it'...

Go T-Mo!

Now if they would only expand their coverage in central NJ...then i would hop on the T-Mobile Wagon.

From www.boygeniusreport.com :

T-Mobile USA today announced its results for Q4 / full year 2007 and as we could have told you, it’s been a good year for the nation’s second largest GSM carrier. Nearly all key figures in Q4 were up nicely from Q3 and growth above fourth quarter 2006 is pretty substantial.

Q4 2007 highlights:

* 951,000 new customers added
* myFaves subscribers up by 1.5 million above Q3 2007
* Revenues totaled $5.07 billion, up from $4.89 billion in Q3 2007
* Net income dropped to $383 million, down from $526 million in Q3 2007 but up from $176 million in Q4 2006
* Customer contract...

On single rate plan and paying more than $100!?

not that myFaves is not a great idea and all and if works for ya then so be it. For those who do not know, T-Mobile launch an Unlimited Minute and Text plan for $99.99 per month. It requires a 2yr contract extension. It will be great for those on the 5000 129.99 plan or the 5000 139.99 myFaves plan, especially if you are dishing the additional 14.99 for unlimited text probably should consider it.

So there ya have it, $99.99 for an unlimited text and minutes plan.

There is a $199.99 pooling plan for 2 lines for the unlimited plan also. ($100 additional per line added)

If someone already posted this, sorry. I didn't see it.

T-Mobile Minute Analyzer is available

Using the My T-Mobile site, you can download your usage detail as a .csv file. That’s old news. What's new is that I have written an Excel macro which analyzes the .csv file and produces a report. The report lists the phone numbers in whenever-minute order. Night and weekend minutes are not used in the ranking. You can see a sample screenshot of the report at:
http://www.geocities.com/t.analyzer/tmo/Finalrpt.jpg »
The report can be a big help in deciding how best to use myFaves and helping you decide whether a phone number should be selected as a myFave.

The web site with more info and for download of the Analyzer is at:

FREE calling back to the US when you are overseas >>

Sorry for the repost... but Iwanted to make sure everyne saw this.

So... I recently got a curve and have beenusing UMA (Wifi calling aka Hotspot @ Home).

From doing some rsearch and getting some first had exirence.. you DO NOT have to use the T-MO router. You can use any wifi conection that you have access to.

So when you travel overseas you can connect to any wifi and make/recieve calls TO THE US FREE! Now if you are making a call to the country you are in you will pay international long distace.

Just wanted to clue everyone in.

This is really great for me becuase I can add a line and ship it to my family in South Africa and they can call back here for FREE!

Later,

JW
