questions about phones for t-mobile

I am considering getting rid of my current phone carrier and going to tmobile, i looked at alot of the phones and packages. I am considering getting a blackberry pearl, curve or the dash. I've read alot of reviews from individuals not professinals that shy away from the dash, i'm looking for something that works well online and from what i've read the wifi feature usually works better on phones then the network connection. so it seems like a waste of 20$ a month for that, but i know the pearl doesn't have wifi. should i still consider the dash or just bite the big bullet and get the curve? i don't plan on doing alot of text messaging, i just want to be able to use the map application and check my webmail account, which both will need a net c...

Is It Possible To See Some Better Phones On Pay-As-You Go Line Up???

Its pretty much self explanitory. I mean, I've sent t-mobile plenty of emails concerning this little factor but all they say is something to the fact of, "We are sorry about this. This note has been forwarded to the correct department. We are sorry to hear that you feel there arent enough handsets"...blah blah blah,"Fortunately all of t-mobiles phones are compatible with our Pay As You Go service, but you are expected to pay full price for the handset of your choice."

Usually I can deal with only a couple of phones to choose from, but all of t-mobiles pre-paid phones are dispicable.

VERIZON PAY-AS-YOU GO:
They have the LG EnV on there line-up as well as the Samsung U740. As we know these phones are most definitely not feature-less....

#3?

After reading how Sprint's bleeding customers I began to wonder how long until T-Mobile will be the 3rd largest carrier in the country. Any T-Mobile reps know?

Why should I switch from ATT to T- Mobile in SC?

Been with ATT for while (since they were ATT). Been off contract for years as well. With the coming of T Mobile (buying Suncom) what are the advantages of T Mobile over ATT if any.

Currently we pay $79.99 plus $15 (plus junk fees) for two phones one phone with unlimited data. 550 daytime minutes we have 1800 Roll Over minutes in our family account. AS you can see we don't use a lot of daytime minutes.

I use an unlocked unbranded Nokia N82 The wife has an unlocked unbranded Nokia 6126

She has 3G but does not use the Internet. Neither of us send more than 5 text or media messages a month if that.

So without the 850 band is their any other reason to switch to T Mobile?

Question About the SunCom Aquisition

I know that T-Mobile brought SunCom (thank God) my only concern is that it is a known fact that SunCom sucks bad in NC....my friends has them and she is always dropping calls and asking can I use your phone...well I was wondering are they going to add more towers in the state? I want to get T-Mobile when they get here (does anyone know when we can see T-Mobile stores) but I just dont want to experience the SunCom coverage..i dont want any drop calls or i cant get a signal anywhere type of stuff.... SunCom Acquisition

I live in NC and am looking forward to T-Mobile taking over the SunCom network here and finally being available. Does anyone have a general idea when (not only when the deal will be final on paper) but when we can start having T-mobile service and phones in nc and when suncom stores will be tranformed into T-mobile stores. Thanks for the info. Im ready for something diff (currently with at&t). Thanks

which phone to get?

hi I've been having issue with my phone. i switched to tmobile back in october. i started with the samsung t629 which i had speaker and mic issues after having sent back three. they sent me the motoroloa rizer which kept resetting it's self now after having sent back three of those they say the only phone they can give me is the samsung t629 again. so i am thinking of buying a new phone since i'll be paying full price which should i get the motorola razer2 or the sidekick lx or the slide. now i am 24 so i kinda thought the sidekick was a teenager style of phone. and i don't like that it doesn't do video. but then again nor does the iphone and you can't use mms with the iphone unless it's unlocked. can anyone offer any help?

THREE STIKES AND TMO IS OUT!!!

Grievance Policies 👿

Been a TMO customer since 2002, and this last month has been the worse customer service to date. I will keep it to the point.

My elderly mother busy a TMO to GO phone, she calls me on it and I say, Mom I will put you on my account so you don’t have to worry about buying minutes. I call TMO with all the info, request the regional 3000 plan at 49.99

TMO confirms however instead they place her in a Blackberry 39.99 plan with no minutes at .45 a minute.

End result at end of the month a bill for $500

Service shut off for high account balance. I call, they realize “their” mistake and make corrections and “credit” the account.

Two weeks later, phone calls my mother stating...

HTC Typhoon: For Sale

Anyone PM me for details. It's an Audiovox and runs Windows Mobile.

BE WARNED: It is water damaged. Won't turn on, or power up. I'm pretty positive the screen is still good. It's unscratched.

Can be used for parts. Buttons and backing and such. Heck, maybe if you're good enough you can get it to work...

PM me. or email [email protected]

how much is it for a new SIM card? I lost mine, and just need another one. I also have questions about memory, if I have the same number and contacts. Thanks.

Great Streaming video on Windows Mobile (With T-Mo Data Plan)!!!

So, you have a dash, a wing, or a shadow and are wondering. "How can get any cooler than I already am?" Well, the answer is by going to m.vtap.com from your phones mobile browser and downloading VTAP for free. I have been in wireless for over 5 years now and this is the best free application I have found to date for streaming video on a phone with T-Mobile.

I can stream content from YouTube, CNN, ESPN, Google, yahoo, & list goes on and on! It also has a great wikipedia feature built in.

As far as speed goes, it's blazing if you use the wifi, but is still relatively quick using edge. Try it, and let me know if it blows your mind as well!

From HotSpot@Home to Talk Forever Mobile..WTF...TMO!

Tell me what is the point of Jimmy's hotspot@ home if its being changed to Talk Forever Mobile. I understand if we rolled out this initially, but we have to revamp advertising, store collateral and reprints...I mean i can ask any on the streets about Hotspot@Home its a common name...i am just saying...THIS IS NOT A SMART MOVE!

Unlocking the iPhone

I have been doing my fair share of research on unlocking the iPhone and it certainly looks possible. Have a few question though... First, (may be a subjective opinion) which is the best way? I have looked into iphonesimfree.com and that seems to have the most backbone to me. Second, I have T-Mobile, so if I got the Total Internet Add-On could I use Safari, maps, weather, etc? Third, do I need version 1.1.1? Thanks for your answers in advance...
