FLEXPAY....

ok, i have to say that i used to looove T-mobile... i worked for them for a year and loved everypart of it.. after i left the company i decided to get flexpay with them. at first everything was perfect and i was very happy. lately i've had soooooo many problems it's unbelieveable.. i used to be a cc and tech rep and i would never understood what it was to have so many issues with a phone and your service until now. i have yet to complain to t-mobile because i know they are not going to do anything about it except tell me there is a problem with my area and they will send a technitian to take a look at it... i know it's b.s. so i decided to take action and i just switched to sprint... my girlfriend has sprint and i've never heard her complain...

Leaving this forum and never coming back >>

I just want all of you to know that I will be leaving Phonescoop. I am so tired of all these idiots being so quick to belittle someone for their post when they are just trying to help someone out.

Recently I replied to a poster that hadn't gotten a response to his question.... so I took the 2 mins to answer it the best I could. Then in the matter of 8 hours there were all kinds of posts to talking S&^%, nevermind providing good info.

I guess I will take my relevant info somewhere else..... you know like the info on how to hack a smartphone for skype before anyone else could. Then I took the time to do a write up and even hosted the files for people.... or how I still get emails 3 years later asking for the firmware to make a TMO a630 i...

3G When?

There are a couple 3G capable Tmobile phones availabe so Im guessing that a 3G launch should closely follow. Any word on an official launch or is Tmob still waiting on the GOV to vacate thier spectrum.

Wifi calls

A representive told me a week before I got my Shadow that she could make calls on wifi networks without using her anytime minutes. SHe had a blackberry (don't remember exactly which one.) Now I have my shadow and I'm wondering if this is true. I tried calling back and asking another rep and he said no. I thought signing up for the t-mobile unlim internet access would do the trick but he said nope.

Can anyone helpp me with this? Do I need to sign up for the t-mobile hotspot at home deal or something?

GSM vs. CDMA?

Hey guys. What's the difference between Tmobile's GSM technology and the CDMA tech used by Sprint and other companies? Is one better than the other?

Verizon or T-Mobile

I am sick of being jerked around by sprint and am moving to Los Angeles form the Mid west soon. So, I am shopping for a new service.

I can't decide between these two companies. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at either the envy, BB Pearl or sidekick depending on the carrier.

Blackberry Curve Wi-Fi question...

Does anyone know/has anyone been able to hop onto an open Wi-Fi connection without the data package to surf on the web?

I know with the Dash and Wing, you can use the internet through an open Wi-Fi connection without the Total Internet add-on.

Since the Curve has Wi-Fi as well, can you do the same? Thanks!

Going to Italy using T-Mobile...

My girlfriend is going to Italy next month and she currently has the Motorola RIZR. How does this work???

I know they use GSM over there but what kind of roaming charges do you get hit with? Is there charges at all? And does T-Mobile rent out phones for a month...specifically blackberrys?

T-Mobile Hot Spot @ Home & Sprint Broadband Together?

Anyone aware of a configuration that will allow me to use my Sprint mobile broadband service with the T-Mobile Hot Spot @ Home service? I have a mobile router, that works great with the broadband service, but can't figure out a configuration to allow the H@H to work through this service, as well.

Any input would be welcome.

T-Mobile vs. Sprint????

I am thinking of leaving Sprint for T-Mobile. I am at my wits end with Sprint's customer service. I will soon be living in the LA area. I was just hoping I could get an idea of T-Mobile as a company and their service. I know the customer service ranks high. Right now with Sprint I have a nationwide plan that I have had for years 750 mins for $38 + tax. I would essentially be going to T-Mobile and spending more for a plan, since I can't bear my Sprint price anywhere for nationwide. Please convince me to leave for T-Mobile or stay with Sprint. Thanks in advance.

Question

Just had a customer come in who stopped and asked me (sprint) where the nearest t-mob store was. Well the closest to us is an hour and a half away so I tried to help him out.

He was having trouble with his vm not working while he was roaming off ATT and I'm just wondering if that is normal since I didn't know what to tell him.

I get a lot of questions about t-mob here since there isn't one around so I'm just asking for future reference in case anyone else asks.

Thanks 🙂
