Anyone have experience with T mobile pay as you go?

I was originally thinking of getting cingular pay as you go but i found they charge a $1 daily usage fee if you use the cell phone.
Therefore i was wondering if T mobile charges the $1 daily usage fee and if the signal strength would be good on a sony ericsson.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

My thread grew!! Start A New One. Let me be most specific.

Let me try to be more specific about the t-mobile / sprint thing.

I live in Oak Lawn, IL which I get FULL BARS most of the time with sprint. I had t-mobile a few years ago (3 Years ago to be exact) And Got 4/5 bars at home. Not sure if they have improved reception in 3 years, but I am ASSUMING they did.

I work in Vernon Hills, IL (About 50 Miles from where I live) and the place where I work gets full bars with sprint, until I walk into the offices. Then I have 1 or 2 bars.

I've never used Sprint here.

It's just hard because all the networks have the "BEST" network.

I drive by about 5 cingular signs, 4 or 5 t-mobile signs, and about 3 sprint signs on my way to work.....

All I ever see is "T-mobile, the fewest dropped cal...

T-Mobile Signal

Hey I am with Verizon right now and considering switching to T-Mobile for a family share plan. I get great signal with Verizon in NYC area but their phones suck. Just wondering how good is T-mobile signal strength in the NYC area. Also can you use any unlocked phone with T-mobile? I am considering getting the Nokia N95. Thanks in advance for your help.

New to Sprint, How does it compare T-mobile

I just got sprint. And am not sure if I made the correct decision....

I want t-mobile because of the Sim-Card portability.

I do use the internet for myspace/phonescoop/google....And am really not worried about the edge speeds....

I've checked the coverage map, and that really doesn't help to much.....

My phone choice would be either the pearl 8100 or the Dash. Not sure yet....

Thanks

Blackberry Curve.

GOOD NEWS!! according to our NEW reading material that came in to the store today (corp store) the curve for t-mobile, as you all know will have wiFi for hotSpot in home. buuuuuuut gues what?!?! it is wifi for INTERNET too! as in "i do not need blackberry internet service" to have internet wifi.

so wifi in the new curve for t-mo is ging to be wifi for UMA and wifi for internet. ๐Ÿ˜
