Nokia 6015i

We got a shipment of Nok 6015i's last week that are "prepaid only acts"...did alltel once sell these to post-pay, I've only been working there a little bit over a yr, so I've never seen it. But VZW had that model for awhile...I've also never seen a phone come with a 90 day warranty...

PDA Phones?

Is it time to upgrade to the Treo 650 or PPC6700 now? I heard they lowered the unlimited data plan to $39/month.

However, does one still need to pay for the $19 all access pass to send pics and text, or can that be done unlimited through email and email attachments?

Moto E815 vs Kx5 Slider

Which is better in terms of signal strength, battery life, and reception?

Also, does the EVDO on the 815 make it a batter phone or just faster for uploading pics and downloading data?

And does the elimination of Analog on the E815 hinder or help the signal?

turning on old phone

My wife's 6255i has cracked and they are saying it is not in the recall area. They say I will have to purchase another phone. I was wondering if my wife can activate my old motorola phone with her number? Will admit I haven't talked to the manager yet, can't catch her in.

Also, If I bought a new phone off ebay can I have it activated without a contract for my daughter on our account?

Sorry for asking so much.

thank you for your replies

Why should I go with Alltel over Cingular???

New here to this board. I have been wanting to take my first plunge into the wireless world and need to choose a carrier. My zipcode area is 44410,44418,and 44483,(that's home and work). How is the Alltel coverage in these areas? I looked on the website and it gives the general coverage map but I'd like to narrow that down into my specific area. Can I get some help? Thanks

locked/unlocked

This has been bugging me for some time...
I see listings on ebay or hear of people buying phones that are unlocked and can be used on any carrier. I am really curious how this can be. Alltel-cdma, Cingular-GSM, etc. If I purchased a Cingular phone how can it be used on alltel. I have tried to tell people it cant because of the technology. I keep getting told I am full of crap. I would appreciate any clarification on this.

New Collateral

The new collertal design is UG-LY.
I sick of having to look at these generic, ugly-ass bastards on the front of all the brochures/literature.

Just put in the big "circle a" logo on the front and end it.

On the inside, the new MyCircle rate plan indicators are pretty sweet...

Just letting the other reps, voice their opinions of the new stock.

OBEX... partially works?

Hey all,

I just got an e815 and I have a BT unit on my laptop. I can send SOME mp3's but not all, some of them say that the transfer fails, is that because of the file, or the phone? Whenever I send .jar/.jad's it also fails, any suggestions? Im not too savvy with the phone stuff I have heard of seem editors to open OBEX, but it seems like it works partially?? Am I wrong here?

Thanks for the help!
