Charger wont stay in?!?!

I have the V710 and recently my charger (both the wall and the car)fits in the slot very loosely, almost to the point of falling out, the only way i was able to get the phone to charge was to tie the wire aroung the antenna real tighly so it fits in the port. Now its not charging at all. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, is there a way to fix it? or is it covered under Motorola's warranty from Verizon? Im gonna go check it out tomorrow at the store, but i just wanted to see what others on the board have experianced with this. Thanks in advance

e815 data cable?

I just got the e815, i noticed that i cannot connect to it from my powerbook. I can see it on my powerbook, but it wont let me see the files on the phone. however on my razr, i can easily swap files using blue tooth. Is there some program out there that allows you to upload your own music/ringtones to the e815?

Podcasts Available on RAZRs

Just picked up a news article that says Melodeo has made software that allows you to download and listen to podcasts on a RAZR. Their web site is www.melodeo.com Software is free. All you need is a data plan from your carrier. Looks like cool stuff.

i930 - is it a road warrior PDA or just a cool phone?

Anyone had a chance to really use the i930 as a down and dirty PDA? I currently use an HP IPAQ 2215 that I really love, and it syncs great with MS Outlook. But am troubled by all the work of coordinating my IPAQ and Motorola cell phone. Bluetooth data transfer helps, but it's still a pain. The i930 seems like a good idea, but it doesn't have bluetooth for my headset, a feature I really like. Someone said you can get a bluetooth SD card, but I already have a .5 GB SD for data storage and data transfer. Do bluetooth SD cards allow data storage, too? Also, I use a number of 3rd party applications so I don't know how they will work on the i930.

Razr Address book

I recently brought Moto Razr. I have more than 500 entries for address book. Its been really very difficult for me to add one by one manually in the RAZR phone. Is there any tool which we can use to type in the web and download directly onto the phone?

Question for people w/ the new firmware on the MPx220

This question is for anyone with the new firmware/software update on their MPx220. Did Moto fix the ringer and voice/speaker volume with this latest update? I bought one when they first came out and had to return due to poor speaker volume and lower ringer volume but am thinking about buying one with the update if they fixed it. Any info would help! 😁

RAZR2

Does anyone have information regarding the relaese of the RAZR2 GSM? I have of two phones on the web so far. One of which was a phone that was renamed a "RAZR" to take advantage of the hype the brand has received. Another was an actual upgrade to the current RAZR.

Where's the StarTac?

I was looking on phone finder and noticed the Motorola StarTac isn't on there! I know it's an ancient phone but a lot of the elderly still use it. I had a guy come in here today and I floundered when trying to talk abou the StarTac. The man INSISTED it was strictly an analog phone but I was under the impression it was tri-mode. I went to phone scoop and didn't see anything!!

What's the dilly yo?

E815 Features Questions

Can anyone let me know more about the menu tools and accessories available on the E815 model...I'm talking about the Address Book, Calendar, Calculator, etc...those kind of tools in the phone itself.

Specifically does the Address Book only store phone numbers or can it store address, city, state, zip info too?

What is the Calendar capable of? Can you program in scheduled tasks that alarm you when due?...like a PDF does? My LG 4400 phone does.

Is there other tools like a restaurant Tips calculator? My LG 4400 does... is why I ask.

I've looked in the User Manual and its doesn't answer any of these questions. Their index doesn't even mention a Calendar or how to use it, yet this web site states this phone does have a Calendar.

e815 accesories & BT - Need help

Hello all,

I will be purchasing an e815 next week and need your help on picking out accessories.

Does the Moto plug in charger and cig lighter charger from a v300 work on this phone?

Does it come with the plastic holster? How do you like the leather case from VZW?

Bluetooth? Which one? I wear glasses and do not want a BT that interferes with the temple of my glasses. BT250V, HS850 or the regular BT headset? I think these are all re-chargeble headsets, but I was told there is a slimmer BT headset that runs off of one AAA battery? Anyone heard of this and what do you think?

Thanks,
Terry

Razr Firmware

I bought an unlocked razr from cingular for my t-mobile service. About a week after I received it T-mobile came out with the razr. Not a huge deal.... except for the t-mobile version runs more smoothly and also has video recording. I've come to find out that the only changes were done to the firmware. The hardware is completely the same. I've been trying to find the flash software and t-mobile version of the firmware with no luck. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Bluetooth dongle for E815 - how to pick!

I want to use my bluetooth E815 phone with my USB2.0 PC, does it matter for the phone if the dongle is USB 1 or 2? Will getting a USB1.0 dongle be too slow for DUN with the 815.

Also I know that the phone only support up to 30 feet, so Bluetooth Class 2 should be fine, but what about the Bluetooth version? Should it be BT version 1.what, v2.0? I know that BT v2.0 has less energy required from the laptop, so that would be good. I don't want to underbuy, but I also don't want to buy more than I'm going to use. Thanks!

I HATE YOU GUYS!!! (RAZR V3 people)

😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

You guys are so lucky to have that phone, I currently have the V710 and I think it is the only one that Verizon provides that has everything that I need but now...my phone got damaged and I have no phone!!! ( I suspended it for a while).

I wish Verizon Wireless "We never stop working for you" would have something similar to that phone. And if they do, I wonder if they will provide us with its full features.

I am not complaining, because Verizon has the best network (I think), its just that, the phones are ugly and yes I did read something about that the bulky phones provide better service than the thin ones, thats why there's a reason for the madness-----COMM'ON!!!!
Get with the program (I mean Technology),...

RAZR V3

I can't believe all this crying about such a good phone. The camera is just a gimmick. If you want to take pictures buy a camera. The camera on the phone is just a fun part of the phone, like the ring tones, screen savers, etc;

I noticed people saying negative things about the RAZR(or other products for that matter) after buying the phone, like it does not have a radio or an MP3 player or a jack for your DVD player or it does not have a GPS or it does not have shortwave, etc; etc; etc;.
I also read that I guy dropped his phone (he got his RAZR on ebay) on a hardwood floor and was upset because it broke and blamed it on the phone and not his clumsiness.
If you have a CD player, a laptop, a portable DVD player, etc; and dropped it on a h...
