Hi. I just got my Motorola V551 and a Motorola Service Software. I was able to upload an MP3 ringer tone but I don't know where to find it or make it as my ringer tone. Please help. This also applies for wallpapers and screensavers.

Is Motorola going to make RAZR for Verizon Wireless?

just went in to see if B.Buy had by chance gotten a new batch of phones with the updated firmware in.

And..... was told point blank by the sales guy that they had just packed all of these up and sent them back but did expect to receive an updated version "sometime" in the future.

I guess those a$$ munching dipsticks that posted here that there was no problem with the volume and that people's hearing must just be bad might have been a bit WRONG.

anyway, I am just irritated that Cingular and Moto let the phones go so far and are yanking them back now. So much for Cingular's "we test all phones extensively with at least 600 users before they go to market" BS. Bite me Cingular and Moto. Fix your phone and it will be a great one. ple...

Want to know which would be better for file transfers, phone book syncing, mp3 transfers, ringtones, etc (or if its possible via bluetooth)....should i get a USB bluetooth adapter for my desktop or buy the USB data cable...this will be for a E815 phone.

I am wanting to know if any seem edits can been done to the v710. If so, what all can be done?

I have a Motorola V810 with US Cellular. The phone has gotten stuck in some FM radio mode and the speaker for the handset will not work until I get it out of this mode. I can only answer calls if I use a headset. I have pulled the battery to reset the software. I have attempted to reset the soft key back to it's original setting but when I go to it, it says that it is still set to the recent calls like it was. I have no idea how it got into this mode and I can not get it out of this mode. Motorola has been of no help and US Cellular has been of no help. Their only suggestion is taking it to a service center and having the phone re-flashed. The tech I spoke to said he had NEVER heard of this issue before and did not know if re-flashing the ph...

Is there any way to erase the life timer on a V3? (its a cellular one so I'm assuming its unlocked)

Bought the new Moto Rokr E1 and it has no continental/classic/triads/standard/triads ringtones.

Only has chords hi/lo and a couple others and they are WAY too quiet.

Called Motorola and they were no help (sad).

Went to Hellomoto.com......nothing.

I read the following in a personal review of the Motorola v710:

"3.bluetooth is limited to just headset unless you open it up through verizon."

What do they mean, "...limited to just headset"? Does this mean that I cannot put a BlueTooth earbud in my ear because the V710 limits BT to just a headset? I do not want to wear one of those headsets. I want to wear that little contraption that hooks onto the ear and nestles in the ear.

I welcome any clarification of what that reviewer said.

Brand new Razr, 3 days old and am having to continually remove/replace battery in order for text-messaging to work, and for voicemail notice to show up in my message center. Cingular says it's software related..anyone else experiencing these kinda problems?

Considering switching to this phone (VZW), currently have a Samsung a670 which does the job quite nicely. Like the speakerphone & BT on the e815. Is it worthwhile to switch? The a670 has provided excellent sound quality and service. The only other Moto I have owned was a v300 on T-Mobile and it was decent, not great, but decent.

Other than the extra features of the e815, what is better - Samsung or Moto?

Has anyone used the moto V330 with T-mobile? I have the V300, and it seems that with a keypad configuration and adding bluetooth, that is the only difference. But I don't know this for a fact so if anyone has used it, info would be helpful.

I have a Motorola V710 that I bought when they first came out. I am planning on turning it in to Verizon under the lawsuit settlement. I would like to replace it with either a Motorola E815 or A840. I really don't need bluetooth and I do travel to Europe so I would like to get the A840. It appears that the E815 is a good phone but I have seen very little feedback regarding the A840. I would appreciate any user feedback on the A840 and any opinions on the E815 vs the A840 - I am aware of the difference in features - I would like to know about quality, reception, reliability etc.

I am getting a new Motorola V276. I think this is the upgraded version of the 260, 265 correct? Does anyone have any feedback for me on this phone? Do you know if the date is listed on the outside display? I forgot to ask that (ordered through large and govt accts) and that is a necessity for me!

Has anyone heard of the Mistro in development for the IDEN network. I've heard specs from a motorola rep. but im wondering if anyone has heard anything else about it. (its suppose to compete with the sidekick only its going to have a removable screen, bt earpieces, 2 cameras for video conf) of course from what i heard. If you have any info please let me know

Hi my name is matt and i have a software program for cell phones that is a very great idea, and if i knew how to do it myself i would not have posted this message. So what do you have to lose other than 1 minute to respond and ask for more details?
I just need someone knowledgeable in multi OS cause we may have to make the program for differnt OS - so you might have to know more than just 1 programming language cause i want to be able to keep making the program for other OS.If we are able to use JAVA then this would make this less troublesome. The obvious point is to make as much money as possible. To show my sincerity if you are capable of doing something like this i will fly or drive out to where ever you are to get this done, that is how...

Does anyone have a link or know where I can dowload Motorola Phone Tools 3.0

I want to know how to send msgs to people using bluetooth. People say its free so i think its better than sending regular texts. I know they can do it on their phones, but how do i do it on mine?

I have a motorola V551 and I bought a data cable with phone tools 2.0. The software only works on V600,V300,V320. Is there a way i can download an update or is there a way to use it with my phone thanks
