Hi there!

I really really need some help. i'm probably being really thick here, but I can't set up my phone to download mp3s from my computer. Can anyone give me a step by step guide? I would be so incredible grateful. What i've done so far is I've downloaded the software from the CD onto my pc, and I've hooked up my phone with the USB cable, but when I try to transfer my music files over to my phone, it just doesn't seem to see them. Do they have to be in a particular format for my phone to see them? At the moment they are Windows media files and my handbook does say that my phone accepts these, but perhaps not. Any help is very gratefully received.

Is the Motorola E815 the right phone for me?

I am a businessman and use my phone to do two things. Call people and as a bluetooth modem for my Powerbook G4. The only other feature I like is multiple number under one name in the address book.

I currently have a SonyEricson T610 which accomplishes all of these things. I am looking to changing carriers from T-Mobil to Verizon.

Please give me your thoughts into all of the above.

looking to up/cownload pic's, number, and ringtones toand from computer to v710 . I have usb cable with mobil office kit. What is mpt, will it work for me, and were to find it????

Hi, I have an unlocked Razr V3 (Black) on T-Mobile which was originally configured for Cingular, and would like to know how I can remove all the Cingular settings and add the T-Mobile ones.

For example the Cingular version to my knowledge does not support video capture, but the T-Mobile version does - mine currently does not and I wish this feature to be enabled.

I am also unable to get my email, but rather just get an SMS giving me just the first few parts of the email header.

What is the best way to get these issues resolved, and can I make the changes myself or do I need to send/take the phone to a store to get it reprogrammed with T-Mobiles services/features.

Sometimes when i open my Razr flip the keypad doesnt light up blue...Everytime im in the dark it does, and when there light it doesnt..i thought maybe it was light sensative..is this messed up..what should i do?

GOOD NEWS: T-Mobile got the phone shipped to me in 2 days!! They told me 2 weeks.

BAD NEWS: I did not know that the accessories were NOT compatible with other Motorola phones. I now have to buy a new car charger, and new bluetooth headset. VERY frustrated at myself for not realizing that.

I like the rubbery feel of part of the V551 faceplate, but hate the silvery part. Are there any faceplates made that are similar but without that silver part, or at least a variation of that theme? I've only seen plain plastic ones.

Also, I've seen transparent ones, but never what it looks like on the phone itself. Anyone know of any pics around of that?

So, I just got my HS820 BT headset in the mail, and I paired it up, and everything seems kosher, but then I noticed something: when the headset is paired, I can't use my palm -> bluetooth -> GPRS connection. Can the phone only support one connection at a time?

Suddenly my unlocked motorola v551 has stopped working. It has a blank white screen and indicates no service. Worked fine for months. Now nothing. Was AT & T phone, now using with Cingular. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love the phone when it is working.

Ok, I have been trying to speak to an AMERICAN at motorola and keep getting sent to India and Argentina and they just dont understand me and I do not understand them. I have the Motorola V710 and I have the HT820 BT headset. Well I guess the 710 will not work with the headset but will it work or will it do the same thing with the Motorola DC800?

I would like to get free (airtime-only) Internet connectivity from this phone. I found the service menu code and the WAP settings.

I just purchased the MPX220 phone and I have T-mobile service. It says I have the 1.28 software version, I know there is a 1.43 version out, but I can't update my phone with it. Everytime I try it says my phone has the latest software. I called Motorola and they said since the update is for Cingular it won't update my phone because I have T-Mobile. Is there any way around Motorola's B.S? Please help, I am very interested in getting the new software. Thanks

I went from a V60c (loved it) to a SE T637 and am about to switch to a Motorola V551. I'm excited to go back to a Motorola. In theory the SE is great (and seamless with my Mac), but in reality a piece of crap. Anyway, one thing I use all the time on the SE is the text notes you can keep, where you can post one of them on the screen like a post-it. The Motorolas don't have this. Anyone know of anything to do this?

I have a V600, and I can't figure out how to view only the phone contacts in the phonebook. I copied all my contacts to SIM just now, just in case I were to break my phone. I have a copy of the phonebook file too that I bluetoothed over, but this is just an extra precaution.

I don't want to see doubles of every contact on my phone, because it's reading the SIM and the phone. Is there any way to just view phone contacts and not SIM?

The class face lens on my Razr is cracked, any suggestions on repairs? Will Moto. fix it under warrenty?

What do all of the letters mean in the Motorola lineup? For example, the V's, the E's. I am sure that they mean something and I want to know so that I know which models to look at and which to leave alone.

Alright. This stuff is sweet. Back in the day when I used to sell Verizon I fell in love with the V710 and it's voice activation commands. "Say a command!" I dreamed about it.

But I am definitely a GSM America guy, so I could never bring myself to switch over to CDMA. I stuck with ATTWS and got my V600, the closest equivalent at the time to the V710.

Does anyone know if Cingular/T-Mobile is ever going to get a Moto with the OBEYMOTO software? Or is there any GSM Moto that has it? What's the deal?

Is the speakerphone on the Moto V635 located on the FRONT or the BACK of the phone? This is important to me. -Lorna
