Since the phone is smart, is there a way that you can alert or view monthly minute use from what time to what time. I've been gone over minutes in the last few months and the bill was ugly 😢

I have a V330 and what problems does everyone have with these motorola chargers?

This may be a crazy question, but do Motorola phones come with the cool colorful psychedelic wallpaper designs they advertise in the pictures of their phones?

OK my computer just went off the deep end.. 😡 I had Mobile Phone Tools and used it alot. Unfortunately I cant find it again, does anyone know where I can get this software? .....Of course I mean for free. 😉

Yesterday I bought an unlocked Motorola V330, which was made for use with T-Mobile. I'm a Cingular customer.

While I am able to make and receive calls and text messages just fine, I would really like to flash the phone with Cingular software so I can access Cingular's data network. Essentially, I want to make my V330 into a V551.

I have a USB cable, and I've read up on the basics of flexing and flashing phones, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some general advice before I flash the phone with a monsterpack I found on www.motomodders.net

What precautions should I take? How do I know I'm using the correct software (i.e. Software that will let me access Cingular's North America "MEdia Net" data network?

What are the differences between the HS-810 and the newer HS-850?

anyone know where I can get the software for USB connectivity with my PC cheap, motorolla wants like $50CAD for it, I was looking to pay like half of this at most. I have a V220.

Just had a caller claim that T-Mobile is recalling V180s because they've been "blowing up."

We haven't heard of a recall yet... Is this true?

I was at the Verizon store today (got the LG VX 4500). The salesman said there is a new motorola coming out--basically an upgraded 710 but skinnier and all black. He said the phone was on their website but I can't find it. Anyone know what he is talking about?

i got this motorola v710 ( verizon) phone yesterday. I charged it completely overnight but never saw the "charge complete' message as stated in the user manual. The phone showed three bars on the batter icon on the top right hand croner. What must be wrong? did anyone else have the same issue?

Great Ringers
Menu Layout (the same as the V300)
Bluetooth

CONS:
Not that many wallpapers but thats why we have T-Zones

I was reading the part of the manual that tells you about charging your phone it says you can leave the travel charger connected to your phone even if it says charging complete it will not harm your battery. Does this mean I can leave it charging over nite without me overcharging the battery?Thanks!

I can't believe that even the V400 will show a full sized photo caller ID picture, but the 551 won't.

I am using distinctive ringtones for some of my family--so when they call I can tell by the ringtone who it is (can't see the display in bright sunlight). This is a very useful feature, but I find that when the same family members send me a text message it also uses the distinctive ringtone, so my problem is I cannot tell an actual voice-based call from a text message just by hearing the ringtone. I guess there is nothing I can do about this, right? If I use the stock rings I can set up a different kind of beep for a text message, but if I want distinctive ringtones for a person then that's used for everything. Why would they do something like this. Grrr. My provider is Cingular.

Hello.. I am new to the forum and a new V555 user. I just got my V555 phone last week.. Pardon me for asking a silly question.. It seems I have problems using my own Pop mail account.

I see my V555 has a setting to use a dial up internet account to access Pop mail. I try to use this feature and can't..

I talked to customer service and they tell me I must use my cellular carriers GSM service to access Pop mail from my home accout..

So I assume my cellular carrier is blocking this feature on my phone. Are they forcing me to use GSM to access my Pop mail account? I would assume they make much more money if I access my pop mail using GSM rather than normal airtime charges with dail up.. Or do I have something configured wrong?
