Motorola V710

I transfered 3 cd's to my TF card, however, when I access the files from my phone, some songs do not appear. When I access the TF Card from my pc, all songs show. Anyone knows why this is happening or more importantly, how to fix it?

I have two changes to my phone!

First - the outside LCD stays lit durring charging . . . I know it did not do this two weeks ago.

Second - on the menu screen, I have a number in the upper left corner that I never saw before. Is this new?

QUESTION - did I get a firmware upgrade without knowing it? Whats up?

Hey I had a ringtone question. Can the V710 set ringtones with a persons voice as the ringer like the VX7000 can? If so, how do you go about doing so?

How about, everyone who recieves a Gmail invite sends three (3) of their six (6) invites to people on Phonescoop, who, in turn, send 3 to another user, etc etc. Kinda like that movie with the little kid... I forget what it was called.

I love looks and the features of this phone! I just wish the shell was more like the v600 or the v60. I work in a warehouse environment and need something that can take a beating 😡

I just got one this morning, but I deleted it because I wanted to change the name. I couldn't find any way to change my screen name other than that.

Well, my brother ended up breaking his slider screen the other week and it is cracked and bleeding bad. I spoke with a VZW rep on the phone and they said something about $15 for a replacement screen. (If find the previous hard to believe), they also talked about getting a FRU unit under MFG WRTY? I know people in the repair business and they said it would be more like at least $100.

So the other day I bring it to a corporate Verizon store and they say that they do not fix screens at all. I mentioned the notes in the account about a FRU unit, and hey said no way. (Now I didn't expect to get a FRU unit truthfully, b...

hey guys...i just picked up and wanted to try out the logitech bluetooth headset. it looks pretty damn sick. "sick" as in it's "ill". "ill" as in it's dope =) just had to clarify. It comes packaged in a pill box and the carry "pill box" case is the charger. It looks like those incubators in the movie Matrix where the machines place the humans. You connect the AC adapter to the case and it charges. I functions like the HS810, but it doesn't pick up the calls by swining the boom mic. The logitech HS has a multi-function button so u use that to pick up calls. All in all, it's pretty damn cool. 99.99 at fry's electronics in San Jose, CA. go check it out if u don't feel like getting the motorola one. IT's pricey, i know, but i'm giving it a test ...

👿 This phone is nice but it is not perfect - I have missed about 20 calls from the phone not ringing. The HS810 Bluetooth is weet but it also only rings about 50% of the time - no tonly that call waiting on this phone fail smost of the time. Taking pictures and storing to the transflash card the phone freezes up - have to reboot by taking the battery off - the size of the phone for this day an dage is bad - too big - bottom line for me I want a FULL Bluetooth phone that takes pictures and works - all the other gadgets you can have. I did nto pay for my V710 plus got all the acessories free from a Motorola rep - so it is not the $$ but the pure fact this phone is not a functional device - it fails on me, can not truct it - going back ...

Does this phone allow me to record my voice and then use it as a ringtone?

I have friends that have the v600 with AT&T service and are able to send a text message with a URL link to an mp3 to their phone and then automatically open it in their mobile web browser. I have tried to do this with my v710 and am not able to to go to that site. I have also tried to manually input the URL in the address box and have not yet been able to visit the site. Verizon said that because the phone is new, they are not able to offer me much help. Anyone with any information please help. Thanks in advance.
