Getting Ringtones
I was just wondering, if when I get the Transflash card, how would i go about getting ringtones onto the phone. Is there anyway to download the ringtones onto the computer and then take them from the computer and onto the TF card?
Thanks

Speakerphone with Flip Closed
This is a bit of a hack, but is designed to show that it can be done. Hopefully Motorola will enable this in the software at some point. To use the speaker phone with the flip closed, you'll need to change the audio channel in testmode. You'll also have to plug something into the hands-free jack - either a stub or a wired hands free device. At any rate, once you have it set up, you can use the voice dial (or open the flip and use number dial) and talk through the handset's condender mic (which still picks up just fine with the lid closed). Here are the steps:
* Enable test mode (Menu + 00 ** TESTMODE *)
* Enter test mode (Menu + Left Option)
* Press Right Option until ...

MPT & VMO diffs - pretty please
I'm trying to decide which to get. First priority is PC Sync for Outlook contacts and calendar. Second might be modem but as I do not have a laptop now it is truly secondary (probably will have one before 2 years is over).
Pretty please?????

Multiple Phone Numbers per Name
I read a previous thread and followed the intructions to "set view" to "primary" in the phone contacts setup. I did that.
I am syncing my phone (via USB) to my PC and wish to get my outlook contacts into the phone. In Mobile Phone Tools (v2.1b), when I try to do this, it creates multiple entries for each person's phone number. So, if John Smith has cell, office, and fax, there are three John Smiths put into the phone directory.
Two questions:
1. Can one contact truly have multiple #s? If so how many?
2. Is there a setting or procedure in Mobile Phone Tools I need to follow to accomplish this?
thanks in advance,
