Back in Testing?
The overall consensus is the 710 will be out mid-late June, early July. However, a few people on HoFo and a tech guy at my direct store said it went back into testing and it wont be released until August, September, or October.I hope this is false. Can anyone confirm if this is true? BMR? Iconic? Braveyoyo?

Progressive Lookup
I was looking to get V710 soon, but not anymore. Someone at Howard Forums confirmed that brand new and higly sofisticated Motorola V710 does not have an easiest to implement feature: progressive lookup in the phonebook! All other manufacturers have it, but not Motorola. I am very disappointed! I have about 300 numbers in my phonebook, and it is a real hassle to look thru them in my current V60... I'll better get LG7000 or 9900

Did you see the the radiation output on this phone? The SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. This phone is 1.4W/kg! So I hope all you nerds get this phone and get brain cancer! This would be so rewarding for the me and the rest of the world. 🤣

Any New REALEASE Dates!!!
I called my local verizon store, they said they wouldn't know when the phone would be availbale until it actually arrived in the store for shipment. And I called Verizon Wireless and the tech support guy just told me sometime later, he couldn't get into details. Is this phone ever coming out??? 😳

Voice dialing
I understand you don't have to train the phone to your voice, but then how does voice dialing index into a specific entry in the phonebook.
I'm talking about dialing by name and not speed dial position.
So say "George Bush" is on button 213, how can I use voice dial to access that entry using the name. On my v120c I recorded a voice entry that corresponded to that position.
How does it work on the v710?

If you are future v710 owner, I have great news!
I work for the Corporate VZW office in New Jersey, and we came out of a marketing meeting yesterday, discussing the release of video messaging, and 2 upcoming phones. Testing is about complete and I have great news for you v710 and lg7000 fans!

Still looking for answers on itap dictionary and sms msg lengths
Thanks for the info on voice dialing.
I'm still looking for answers on the ability to add my own words to the itap dictionary and any word on support for longer text message lengths.
I want to get rid of my pager but can't deal with the short msg lengths, and I'm having trouble with the thought of letting go of my 1-800 number for folks to call and leave me voice mail or call back numbers.
