I won this phone and due to lack of duo pro support I will be selling it. I normally use ebay to sell the phones I won, but paypal has screwed me twice and I would prefer not to support them, or ebay anymore. If you are interested, let me know, we can work something out. say they knwo and they say csp and other damn work jargon. i have acces to csp tell me wher i can find this info. iam in the central region. the phoen comming out soon and you know what iam worried aobut know? why is the s700i more expensive then the s710a? did cingular go and substitut some parts or do somthing to make this phone cheaper? is a forsight of a problem or futurproblem with the phone? 499.99 compared ot what was it 699.99? somehting has to hav happened.....................

I just went browsing over at cingular.com trying to figure out if a MEdia Net package would do what I need it to do but wasn't able to get an answer.

Here's what I need:

I'm a producer for a company that makes games and other applications for cell phones. I need to be able to use my phone to test these games. My problem is that my background is in BREW, so I'm really unfamiliar with how the J2ME side of things works.

In order to test apps, I put a .jad and a .jar out on the internet. On my current Sprint phone, I then just "go to" the .jad's URL and the app downloads and installs on the phone.

Some of these apps use the internet to contact servers to upload/download high scores, retrieve data, or whatever.

1) Is a J2ME .jad...

s710 release date has now just been pushed back to march 10th or so. It's true I just got the e-mail.

First I'd like to thank my Cingular colleague.

We exchanged emails, and they did indeed have different information. My email said Feb 25 as he saw, and his did indeed say March 10th.
So the phone will be released between Feb 25 and Mar 10! 🤣

I just found out that I can get a discount with Cingular due to being an employee of Securitas. 17% on my monthly service and 30% on phones. 😁

Since theres no forum for this one yet, and the S710a'ers might be more intersted in this than anyone else....
Did you hear about the K750??? 2mp camera (sadly, CMOS...but it cant be that bad)!!!! The screen isnt as big, but still awesome. 91mb built in, and DUO support. (might be duo-pro...but who knows).

If the picture quality in this is good, Im going to be looking at this phone for a while. And I hope its not as expensive as the S710.

Question...(I am on the phone with SE trying to get any info. in regards to this phone...still holding) anyway.....no info, but he did say you won't be able to buy the phone through them either(I didn't know this).....as I was asking, if you buy the phone through Cingular with no contract, is the phone still branded with Cingular or could you take it anywhere for activation service?

I just got a K700i(using with ATT), but still considering getting the S710a.
With my K700i, I am having some difficulties accessing certain web pages through Mmode web service, particularly downloading real ringtones. I think this is b/c the WAP settings are configured for a SE T637.
These 2 phones do not compare in features, so I think that's wh...
