Does anyone know if BestBuy will be selling the s710? I've got a 3 year service plan with them and could use a "replacement" for my "defective" phone 😈 .

Question. DOes SBC offer special discounts to their customers or somethin, cuz why is the S710 only $399.99 on their site, but higher with buying it at the store? That's some BS.

Sweet to hear about the release date. The price is right, there will probably be a $50 rebate because when I talked to a Sony rep at a launch party he said it would be $400 on a 2 yr. I could see it being 450. Cingular has a 100 day period where we are the only ones to carry this phone just like the razr. It makes sense since the 100 day period for the razr ends on Feb 23rd or thereabouts. I got so fed up with waiting for this damn phone and readin ALL of your crazy posts and threads for 2 months I got my own account on here and bought a p910a because I was so upset about how long it was getting pushed back.

I hope this phone lives up to ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS.

On a brighter note SonyEricsson will announce the release of the s750 ...

With the possibility of only 2 going to each store, what's the deal with buying online or over the phone, what supply will they have?

The S710 will be available on the 14th (for SBC customers). Then on the 21st for everyone else.

I've also attached the pricing. Be careful though - this is Top Secret info and no one is supposed to have it yet!!

How often do you purchase a new phone, and if you buy it with contract, how long of a contract do you get?

I, for one, would rather have a one year contract...something about being tied in legal papers bothers me...I average around 1 new phone every year, or the end of my contract...whichever brings forth a good phone worth buying....

What about you guys?

My local Cingular stores - all of them - still claim they can't see anything about it in their systems, so they're still projecting "a few weeks".

On the plus side, they all say that the new $25 MEdia Net plan will give me the unlimited data/downloads and internet that I need, so that's cool.

LoL, now that people have gotten emotional about this phone being released, I would like to bring something up. We speak as if the moment this phone is in our hands, this forum will die.

But I know it will live on. Do you want to know how I know?

Because the second we all get our phones, well just come back here and bitch about something thats wrong with it.

i have been waiting for this phone for a while now and am considering forgetting all about it and buying a nokia 7610. if anyone could tell me how the two compare, pros and cons kind of things, it would be greatly appreciated.

With all the new phones being anounced this week, does anyone think that the styling of the s710a is not as "cool" as they once did?

Hey, just curious...is the P910 really a brick? Compared to other PDA phones, not a regular phone....

Hey if anyone saw that the phone showed up on the SBC global website and through the residential channel or whatever and since SBC is a part of Cingular, couldn't we call up SBC and order the phone through them? If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

Cingular will be releasing the S710 on 2/25 and i have the prices too!!!!!

With the slew of awsome new phones being anounced this week, and the amount of time that we have waited for this one, I think I may just hold off a few months and get maybe the Samsung d720. That phone looks great!

Looks like Vodaphone wont be the only carrier of the SE V800 (to be labeled V800i for non-vodaphone users). A pretty sweet looking phone.
