I am having a weak moment! I am considering going with the nokia 6620. It uses mmc cards(lots of memory!), and have you seen some of the programs available for it on handango.com? Somebody slap some sense into me! 😢

And available through the rest of the sales channels on the 21st. 😎

I'm starting to get tired of waiting for this phone. Especially when I see other mostly comparable phones out there. Has anyone used a Nokia 6230? It looks like it has all the same features as the s710a, except it has a VGA camera, and a smaller, less color screen. However, it does have an FM radio, and the ability to take MMC cards. Amazon has 512MB MMC cards for like 55 bucks!

I'm also starting to worry about the size of this phone :/ I think it's gonna be a brick. I will not carry my phone anywhere but in my pocket. I've gotten spoiled by my T637. The 6230 is only 1mm bigger in width and height than the 637. And, 3mm in thickness. I'm starting to lose interest in the 1.3 MP camera, also, and think a VGA will be fine.

WTF?

Some rep at one of the kiosk's in the mall was saying that is phone breaks easily and that its already been released in the EAST COAST. Is this true?

so the t237 and the t637 have been phased out, displays taken down, all out of stock (at our region at least) so from what i gather this may an "out with the old, in with the new move"...we can only hope

As others have said before, it'd be kinda cool to stay in touch after this phone comes out. Then we can all banter about what we like/dislike about the thing too! 😛

I just went to Guadalajara Mexico and they just released the S700. I saw it was going for 890 dollars which is about 9800 Pesos. They wouldnt even take it out of the box, so i didn't even get a chance to mess with it. oh well i guess ill just have to wait.

today our store put up flyers and posters featuring the s710a along with a college basketball promotion, so look for possible ads to come during college basketball events

Since we seem to get a new price on this phone every other hour, I would like to pose a few questions to you good people of the s710a forum. What do you think is a reasonable price for this phone, what is the most you would spend on the phone, and how much is too much? Please, answer...bored minds want to know...

I just noticed the S710a is still available (ie not coming soon) in a bunch of countries on their website, including Israel and a few Latin American countries, at least. I didn't look at all of them

I wanted this phone bad, but nevermind i'm goin to sprint and getting the Sanyo 5600, i can't beleive cingular really hicked up the prices on the plans, this is unbelievable, i'm not spending that much money to get everything convered on that phone when it would be much cheaper on sprint or verizon, man cingular let this merger get to there head, i can't believe they went through with this. Verizon hasn't even done anything this drastic expect force u to get all your downloads through get it now. Sry cingular, i really loved this company but man thats to much money to be spending monthly over a phone.

I noticed yesterday that the new plan prices are now on cingular.com. Pretty much word for word what was posted on hofo, etc. Man, I'm glad I signed up on thursday! Got the $59.99 850 family plan + 1 line. 😎 Now just trying to figure out if I need a media plan or not ... hmmmmmm

I got a Moto V551 for the wife and a SE T637 for me. Seems like they aren't carrying the T637 in stores anymore. We had to call like 10 different stores to locate one. I'm torn between the s710a and the T637. The T is so teeny tiny, and fits perfect in my pocket. I don't even realize it's there. I didn't think I'd like it so much. I hope the S isn't too bulky. I wish the T had a better camera....
