LG V VX-9800

Just installed a Kensington Adapter on my laptop...the device has been paired with my phone with no problems...the phone recognizes my computer and vice a versa...however, when I open BitPim ver 8.13 it tells me there is no phone detected...I reinstalled both BitPim and the software that came with the adapter to no avail...any help would be much appreciated...Micky

Does anyone know how to Delete the Quick text? There is some preprogramed into the phone but also there is an option to add your own. But it is at its limit and I want to remove some that I added but can not figure out how.

Unless I misunderstand verizon's Website, it appears that with the 9800, you cannot just get Mobile Web like before. It appears that to get Mobile web for this phone, you need to get VCast. Am I right?

Do you guys know how to chang the Desktop theme? I mean besides from the four that the V came with. Is it possible to get diffrent display themes online then download it into the V via SD card? Any help will be much appreciated, Thanx in advance!

When searching for contacts by pressing the Contacts button and typing a name, the search is only performed on the contact name as it appears in the list.

But...
When adding a speed dial, my search text is matched anywhere in the contact name.

How can I use the "Speed Dial" style search in my regular contact search?

Hello. I just upgraded to this phone and I'm learning how to use it. I have been unable to find much about the Navigator function, primarily, if it can be used with the phone closed after set up?. I ride a bike and would like to use this feature when doing so.

Hey I just recently bought the 9800 leaving behind my 815 and I am seriously thinking about switching back

Besides TXT messaging I use my Bluetooth constantly .. I perfer it much better than talkin on the actual phone

I have a 850 and I just bought a 700 moto headset both of them really do not sounds good with the 9800 .. The person cant hear me or I get static .. sometimes its good most times not

I KNOW im not going to get great commection like i did with my 815 but I was hoping for workable

Does anyone know which head set they reccommend? Does anyone have one that might work better .. at this point id try anything

Three of my friends hung up when they heard that thinking they got the wrong number. Is there anyway to change it or customise it so it plays different music?

I d.l the application for Mobile AIM couple of weeks ago. Everything worked fine until now. Mobile AIM loads up but does not sign me in; it keeps giving me the signing on loading bar.

I tried to delete/erase the application but it still remains on my phone.

anybody know what the problem is?

Why can't I delete it off my phone?

Would i have to reset my phone completely? How do i do that?

What purpose does the USB cable serve?

If you have the USB cable can you avoid having to buy a card reader to put files onto an SD card?
..or is the card reader the only way to transfer files?

ok this seems to be a topic thats only important to me why i dont know, but i would really like to put a 2 gig mini sd card in my 9800 their being sold over in taiwain right now by a company called TECIC i saw a picture on a website just want to know if anyone knows where to buy this and if it is fully compatible with the 9800(will the phone see the whole 2 gigs) and also i made a posting a while ago and a gentleman told me if the card was filled up it would effect daily battery performance i dont see how this is true, any input anyone

Hey everyone. In about 3 months or so July 8th to be exact (yes Im counting down to my upgrade date) im planning on buying the 9800 like everyone else here. there's talk of the new Samsung a-990 camera phone which will be sporting a new 3.2 mega pixel camera and a twisting flip design. I don't know if I am going to be buying it though because Samsung processor speeds have been lacking compared to LG recently and I am after the fully QWERTY keyboard for texting/messaging. Anyhows i know this has been asked before but I just want to make sure I haev my information correct.
