LG V VX-9800

IS THERE A SITE WERE I CAN GET FREE GAMES FOR THE PHONE I DONT WANA PAY I HAVE BITPIM,DATA CABLE AND 512 MEM CARD I CAN DO VIDS AND RINGTONES BUT NOT GAMES SOMEONE HELP PLEASE

This may be a weird question but while i was playing with this phone it didnt look like this phone has a any signal strength, but does the ev-do bar signal or the 1xrt signal represent the network signal for this phone? Basicall im asking how to do u find oout how many signal bars this phone has?

I went to two verizon stores not even a mile from each other and both times I played with the 9800 and both times the phones had no service. I really want this phone but the reception at both locations were poor should i be worried and hesitant to buy this phone?

I just had to exchange my 9800 because my previous one kept shutting off .. apparently this was just a lemon phone

I have a new one .. ill use it sparingly .. I have the SD card, extra travel charger, car charger and extra extended OEM battery

I'm looking for similar .. Razr, car charger, and ext battery for even exchange

I ADDED RINGTONES TO MY 9800 USING BITPIM VIA DATA CABLE..WHEN I TRY TO GO TO MY RINGTONES ON THE PHONE TO SET RINGTONES OR JUST TO LISTEN TO THEM....IT SHUTS DOWN AND RESTARTS...PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS..I AM SICK OVER IT. THANKS IN ADVANCE

When I am watching a video clip at full screen, I notice the audio sounds like its clipping (sort of stuttering). Plays back fine in normal mode which is not full screen. Whats up with that?

does anyone know a way to make a file from "my sounds" one of your ringtones?

does anyone know how to lower or turn off keypad volume on the outside buttons?

I read all your threads. Thank you much for good info. I have a mini sd 512mg, LG vx9800 phone, and a mini sd reader. I do NOT have a USB cable for the phone. OK here it goes, I successfully converted cople mp3 songs from my PC to my sd card after reading your posts(this took me 3 hours!! ☹️ i am 50 years old so plz understand). When i try to play them from my phone, it says " FILE INFO READ ERROR" i do see the songs on my sd card though ☹️ what am i doing wrong? Thank you.

I'm sorry this is probably been asked a lot. But, I currently have the Razr and I like it but I miss having an MP3 on my phone. But I am not a big texter so I would hardly use the QWERTY keyboard but the way the razr types it is hard to tell if you pushed the button down. Also the Razr has a bit of a lag and I know that the V doesn't have that. I like the size of the camera on the back and I think it would take excellent pictures. So should I get the V or stick with Razr? Thanks so much!!

It has done it for the last 4 nights, and works fine for about 24 hours, after I take the battery out while the phone is on and power back up.

Im waiting for my new data cable to arrive so i can mess w/ Bitpim again... but i want to see if updating the phone is another benefit. I been having trouble w/ Bitpim recently and in a desperate attempt to fix the prob, maybe i should update the phone.

hmmmm how do turn off the speaker?...like i kno theres a button for it...but everytime i close it the speaker thing shows still...

ive made extensive efforts to find out if continious video will ever be able to be available on the 9800. I called lg and they said it was carrier limited. i dont understand why they would make some phones take unlimited video. and the lg cant, maybe they think the 9800 design is too concelled and takes higher resolution, a world were everyone walks around with a handheld video camera all the time is insane but its the future, since anyway everytime we walk outta the house were on camera 24 7 their all over the place and their cheap too! why would this company deprive us of this since its the future od phones anyway, a firmware upgrade is of course possible, dosent anyone know someone that workat lg on here that cant put in a complaint! ohh...

Well I was on the verizon website getting the pink razr for my sister..and i saw that under the list of features for this phone was vz navigator...and when i asked the lady at the store she said that was wrong...can anyone conferm this?....oh one more thing...i was looking at the "call your songs" thing..and like the 8100 and a 950 have it but not the 9800?! thats crap i paid an arm and a leg for this phone and i dont get feathures that are on crappier phones?!..errrr

Does the phone come with a usb cable or is that a seperate purchase?

Just a FYI for folks looking to get this phone. It might be a good idea to go ahead and buy the extended battery. I got one a few weeks ago and can go a couple of days without charging the battery again! That includes watching a great deal of VCAST clips and surfing the web and talking on the phone. I am pretty impressed with how long a charge lasts.

For some reason, most of the AOL emails I pull up on this phone only shows the header of the email. I click MORE but it doesn't show me anything. I try to scroll down and still nothing. I usually have to wait till I get to a computer to see the actual email. Why is this?

Now I will say that a friend of mine wrote me last week to say hi and I was able to read the whole thing but for the other emails I can't.

Is it true the text on this phone is small and hard to read?
