what is full retail on this phone as of 3/25/06?

Hey guys, just a simple question here. On this phone, if you have a bluetooth headset will it play the MP3s on your memory card through the headset as well, or only on the speakers? I'm debating about getting a BT headset or the stereo headphones and I was just wondering about that. Thanks for your time!

some of my file don't show up on my sdmini when i plug it into my vx 9800. i was wondering if anyone knew why. i converted the movie files to 3gp and the file still don't show up.

I just bought a new LG 9800 thru Verizon. But the new job has given me a new phone with Nextel/Sprint Service and I'm wondering if there is a way to use it with new service.

Bitpim is not detecting my phone after eariler successful attempts.

I recently got my USB cable and mini sd and decided to try it out last night. Everything worked fine the first 2 attempts. I tried it once again this morning and it is unable to detect my phone.

My cable seems fine as the battery symbol on my phone is flashing, charging my phone via USB.

I tried resetting my phone. did not work.

I tried to reinstall Bitpim numerous times. Nothing.

Could it be my USB cable? Could it be my Computer(MAC) ? or im not doing something right?

I saw the 9800 online on the verizon website for $150. When I went to the store to purchase it, they said that the phone costs $269!! I told them about the online deal and they said that they would check, acting as if they didn't believe me. They then told me that the phone would now cost $219!!! They told me I had to buy the accessory pack which was an additional $79. I asked if I "had" to buy the accessory pack and they told me that that was the only way to purchase the phone. I have never had to deal with a bunch of con-artists like that before. Shame on you verizon! 👿

Just thought I'd let you guys know that VZ Navigator is now available throught the "Get Going" section of the Get it Now store. Tried it out tonight and it actually works very well at least around town. Taking a road trip with some friends this weekend will see how it really works and post when I get back. Enjoy.

I'm eligible for a new phone next month, and I've been doing a lot of research on what I want to get, and it looks live I'm going to go with the 9800 and I just a few questions. I was split between a smartphone and this one and I don't think I need all of the functions of a smartphone as I already have a PDA and all that. So I was planning on using this as a sort of "blackberry lite" some light email/internet usage as well as my personal scheduling uses (as opposed to business stuff which goes on the palm). Will the 9800 work well for this? and does the 9800 come with any kind of belt clip or something? Any help or tips would be appreciated! Thanks

I transfered some video files over (correct format of course) and when I played them it was choppy and distorted. Is there an ideal frame rate when converting the video? I expected the video to be good since I ripped it from a DVD movie. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which frame rate I should use; software?

My wife has an LG-VX9800 (got it around christmas time) and for the first month everything worked fine but the last two months, every single time she tries to access Mobile IM on the phone, it locks the whole phone up requiring a hard boot (by removing the battery) before it will respond to anything. I know this isn't normal but has anyone else encountered this issue?

Using v.01 software.

How long did it take for you to get an item or items that you ordered? According to the invoice that I printed out after placing the order, it said normal delivery in 2-5 business days. Well, it's now been one week, and I still haven't received my order.

Of course, when I check the status of the order online, it just says that my order has been received, and check the status again tomorrow. Ugh!! 😕

i have the hs 500. volume is good, sometimes there is staic but not often. what i di notice and i dont not like is the fact that sometimes when the phone and the headset are 5 feet apart or less, is the phone diconnects from the headset. i have to go into the menu and reconnect it. anyone else have this issue and what should i do about it???

I got this phone and somehow lost the manual. I was hoping someone could let me know if this phone has the airplane mode and how to enable it.

On my old verizon phones I could access the phone root directories and folders by hitting the menu (OK) button and then clicking '0' button in which is came up to a password prompt that you filled with more '0's. This phone doesn't seem to work the same way. Hoping that someone else has cracked this code.

Hi im starting a new contract with verizon..and this one particular option is what making me make my desion to chose a phone. I wanted to know if this phone is capable of saving a recorded voice as a ringtone. From what i heard i know the samsung a950 does it.

last night i bought a belkin usb adapter and i was trying to send over a mp3 and that didn't work so i converted it to a wma and it still didn't work. it gave me the message on my laptop saying that the device that i am trying to send to does not have enough memory. but i checked my phone and it says that it has 56000kb free...can anyone help me?

Does anyone know if there will ever be a A2DP bluetooth profile upgrade for this phone?

this will allow the complete use of bluetooth stereo headsets.

Verizonuser: I can't get that MOtorola one, so i am going to have to go with Adaptors, but are you sure adaptors will work? I probably wont need to control the music from my headset but i do want to be able to listen mp3s, with the bluetooth stereo headset, and be able to pick up calls and talk.
