LG V VX-9800

My buddies and I all have different phones. I have the vx9800 and they have the Motorola Razor and a Sony Ericsson z800.

They can all set pictures and files to each other, but i cannot set to them. I dont know if they can even send to me, but I can find them on my bluetooth. I search for devices and i can see them and even pair with them.

what do i do? anyone done this before?

OR maybe even notifications is there any way to do this i downloaded some sounds from mbuzzy.com and it saves as sounds i dont see a way to set them as ringtones]\

OK Ive skimmed through the text options on this phone but i need to know how to make it so that no record of incoming or ougoing sms stay on my phones inbox or outbox....i have auto erase to on but the messages are still on there any help is greatly appreciated

Was wondering if anyone knows any cool games to get!! I have purchased the Need for speed game which was pretty good. I didn't like the Mrs. Pac-man because the screen was too small for that game, they used most of the screen to show the characters of the game instead of the actual game. So if you could recommend any cool games that I can play during long lectures at school..that would be awesome!!

i'm a little confused i've read that the phone has html browsing capabilites and that you can acutally see images on sites and then i've read that you can't see the image can someone please clarify

i have to go in for a software updat will this effect my bitpim or any other downloads not provided by verizon?

I have had this phone for a month or so (upgraded from the 8100)and was trying to place a sentence in quotation marks for the first time the other day and couldn't seem to find the left quotation mark. Any help greatly appreciated.

Okay, I just bought the V and it keeps cutting off. I'll be talking on the phone or playing a game and the phone will cut off. Why? and How to fix????? ☹️

Ok the LG VX9800 has a built in mp3 player and has built in speakers to listen to it...But my problem is it has a 2.5 mm plug and i would think that if i put a 2.5 mm music headset it would not work to listen to music because that outlet is used for talking and listening to conversatins and i would think... anyone know what i can do or what headset i could buy?

does anyone know whether an ssh client is available for this phone? i'm currently using tmobile sidekick, the phone has an ssh client but tmobile service just sucks so badly, that i can't rely much on the phone for getting email or getting good signal. i'm drooling over the LG VX-9800 but will only get it if it has ssh capabilities (among good signal/coverage).

I want as many peoples opinions as posible. Here is the question.

I am not eligibly fo my New Every Two until May 31. I want the 9800. There is no o 😁 ther phone I want. I have a fully operational VX-7000. I could upgrade and get the phone for $199 now, or wait till May 31 and hope to get it for $299-100-100=$99.

Under these circumstances, what would you do?

I was told that V Cast should update daily with fresh material. I got my phone last Thursday the 16th and as of Tuesday of this week, I still had the same video clips on my phone. I noticed yesterday they were updated which seems like the clips are being updated every 7 days or so.

Does anybody know how to get more REGULAR ringtones onto this phone preferably via Get It Now or a spot that I can download regular ringtones as MP3s and use bitpim to make them ringtones?

By Regular ringtone, I mean somehting that just makes a ringing noise... not a song or anything like that.

Also, my Motorola v710 came with some good ringtones. Anybody know if there is a way I can get them off of my v710 and onto my 9800??

I purchased both mrs. pac-man and also need for speed most wanted. I go to get it now and go to the 3rd option of Get Fun & Games. Both of my games show up here. when I hit ok for mrs. pac-man, it opens up the game fine, but when I hit ok for NFS: Most Wanted, it just moves up to the #1 option of Get New App. When I downloaded the game it worked great, but now it won't let me play it anymore. Please Help!!

Can you be on a call and be surfing the internet at the same time? Or be on a call and search through your address book for another contact person without ending your current call?

ive had this phone since1/1/06 and it was replaced by verizon in jan because it kept shutting down when i went to the menu or contacts without any mp3 or downloads or even bitpim so they replaced it. Guess what it just happened again on a new replacement phone???? it just shuts off??? nothing is even saved to the phone.

2nd can some one help me with the vid can i goe threw bitpim to put vid on phone from comp? i tranferd 1 thing and it was nlack wit no sound. thanks for readin

😢 why do the ringtones get shifted everytime i load new ones on? is there a way to have it NOT do that? PLEASE HELP!!!

I know this is a shot in the dark but does anybody know if you will have to record the contacts name to be able to voice dial or will it work like v710 where it is automatic. 😳
