Sprint Users GET OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT

CBS 13) Sprint is hiking its text message fee to $.15, which means that you can get out of your contract.

And it's all thanks to the fine print in this service agreement! Sprint states they can raise your rates at any time. But it also says if they raise rates you can cancel your contract without a penalty.

If you use Sprint's service or make payments on or after the effective date of change, you have accepted the changes. If Sprint changes a material term of the agreement and that change has a material adverse effect on you, you can terminate the agreement without a fee by calling 1-888-567-5528 within 30 days after the change goes into effect.

The fee hike just went into effect October 1. They say you only have a month to get out...

3G in michigan

now the big 3 carriers in the nation have 3g service in my area which i am very excited about, cingular just went online with their 3g service and i cant wait to see how fast hsdpa is, the only experience i had with 3g was with sprint's 3g network which is blazing fast, what is interesting is that Sprint covers the metro detroit-tri-county area, grand rapids, lansing and ann arbor, verizon covers the metro-detroit area and now cingular covers the metro-detroit area and im gonna go to the nearest cingular store and try out their service. i did hear that sprint has a larger ev-do coverage than verizon and now i can actually back that claim up

Good going

So I hear Sprint is raising their text messaging charges to .15.....ouch! On top of forcing the customers to get a data plan, Sprint is in part forcing their customers to purchase their messaging packages even if they only need to send ten a month. Sounds a little desperate to me but thanks for the new customers! Go T-mobile!

Data Data Data Data

Yes powervison is better than vcast, but still the mass majority of the population could give a crap. I think the reason why is right now there is no killer app that is knocking everyone socks off, and when that time comes all the carries will offer it! So those who think verizon is out of the data game i just don't agree, explain yourself. thanks

There is hope...

As you can all see my last thread basically knocked up Sprint. I realized that it was irresponsible of me to tell you how HORRIBLE a company is but not tell you a solution to resolve your accidental mistake of signing a contract with Sprint. Here's the solution/resolution/savior: The wonderful Sprint (gag) has decided that 10 cents per txt msg isn't enough for them so now they want 15 cents per msg. That's funny since Sprints biggest competetors (Verizon Wireless, Cingular, and T-mobile) still charge only 10 cents per msg. But since Sprint has decided to make such a greedy bold move it's coustomers have the once in a lifetime oppertunity to cancell their Sprint deal for FREE even if they're in contract. There is hope for current Sprint...

MOTORAZR

I know Sprint is going to launch 3 Motorola phones early November. The MOTOKRZR, The MOTORAZR and The MOTOSLVR. I know what model the MOTOKRZR and MOTOSLVR are but what model RAZR are they going to carry. I am asking because some have memory card slots and some don't.

Blackberry in Northcentral Illinois

What good experiences do any of you have with particular carriers and the use of Blackberry devices in the North Central Illinois area. (DeKalb, Genoa, Belvidere). I currently have Cingular for my cell carrier and they are really frustrating the heck out of me with horrible service. Don't get me wrong it is not all their fault, it is partially mine since I live in a farm field. I just don't want to get a blackberry and not be able to use it in my home area.

Motorola RAZR V3X???

First off, I want to say that I'm going to be a new member of Sprint in the next few days and I am coming from Verizon...

I've heard the news that Sprint is getting all the new Moto's soon and well, to get to the point, while I was out today, I came across a RAZR that I've never seen or heard of before - obviously the RAZR V3X (at CompUSA).

Not a regular V3, V3c, V3i, V3m, or any other RAZR model that I'm forgetting... A V3M (Do a search on Yahoo!)

Now, I'll admit that I have been (or may have been) hidden up under a rock for a while, but then again, I HATE/DESPISE/ABHOR RAZR's with a PASSION, but this "new" (or so it seems) V3X was WONDERFUL and full of features... 2 Way Video Conferencing, 2.0+ Megapixel Camera, and a slew of othe...
