Any new phones?

Anyone know of new handsets coming to Sprint in the near future? I saw the C290 earlier, but is there anything else?

Downloading wav files from a wap website

Hello People,

I was finally able to upload "wav" files into my nextel i710 using a data cable. So I know that my "wav" files are good.

The problem is that I want to create a personal wap website to download my "wav" files using my phone browser but every time I browse to the link with my phone I get a 1015: invalid content type error.

This is how my WAP page looks:

Help me choose please!

Simple question: Coming to Sprint from T-Mobile, should I get the Blade by Samsung or the MM-7500 by Sanyo. Thanks!

Just a thought

I was just wondering if anyone thought that in a few years Sprint will overtake any of the big two VZW or Cingy in total customers. With the addition of new plans and The purchase or merger with nextel do they even stand a chance?

Bad Busines Policy

As a 5 year user of Sprint I went to the sprint store to upgrade my sanyo 8100 to the A940. Just as Im about to sign the new 2 yr contract they tell me that I will have to pay a $36 fee. If I had new service via the web they waive the fee but if you are a loyal customer the charge you. Thus, I walked away from the phone.

So now Im free to look at other carriers....what a stupid policy.

Unlock Sanyo Phone

ANYONE know how to unlock a phone without the code the customer set up? I bought a Sanyo 9000 from one of my customers, and, when I set up the ESN swap and tried to program it, i noticed that the customer locked the phone. In MOST cases, it's the last 4 of the phone #, but not in this case. Is there ANY way to bypass the lock? PLEAE HELP!! ๐Ÿ˜•

Sprint salary question

I am a manager in a affiliate area that has recently been bought by sprint.

I was wondering if anybody could break down sprint salary structure for managers and assistant managers.

Also could you give me some info on their benefits programs.

Thanks

ESRP (aka NSP)

Just FYI, Open enrollment ends at the end of the year for iDEN and CDMA service and repair. Starting Jan 1, you will have to pay for a repair up front before adding the feature on to your account, unless you are within 30 days of handset activation. Have fun!

To the customer:

This applies to all customers not just sprint, cause I'm sure you are all the same. What gave you the idea that you could just come in and start demanding and negotiating for what you want? This is not a car dealership, we don't take your old phones and "bid" them on trade ins. We don't have "asking prices" listed by the phones---we have regular price and rebate price. You get the rebate if you qualify for it, not cause you got your phone wet and don't want to pay full price to replace it. Also, there is no guarantee w/ anyone that your CELL PHONE will work everywhere, this includes in your house or trailer (for most of you) or other buildings. If you've noticed, there are no chords attached to your phone, so similar to your radio you ...

Direct Numbers

Does anyone have a direct number to Sprint Customer Service they would please, please share with me?

I already have the direct numbers to Nextel and T-mobile but since the merge with Sprint, I don't have that number.

Oh, and by direct number - I mean, a number I can call without pressing any keys or really waiting (well, normally not waiting). The number will take me directly to a rep.

Thanks for any help!!

Updates with the Sprint/Nextel merger

NETWORK
The coverage and capacity has always been their focus, so as such they are spending $5 billion in capex per year through 2008, while $3.8 billion of the $5B, will go to improve the network and capacity in the top markets as well as for EV-DO. Sprint will add 5,000 cell sites per year nationwide but it would increase towards the 2008 timeframe.

Distribution

90 percent of Sprint/Nextel stores are selling both products.

Handsets

Launching 5 new ev-do handsets including the Samsung Blade, which will rival the Motorola RaZR.

Latest Deals

They will offer the quadruple play with the cable companies in mid 2006, and this allows the cable companies to have usage of sprintโ€™s massive 2.5 GHz holdings.

Integration/s...
