I love sprint, I loved my Centro. Foolishly I dropped in water. You can guess where. I am considering buying new one on ebay. Is this wrong solution. I am newbie and if I bought one, how do you activate it on existing account? I really don't have an extra $400. Any other options?

I purchased a Blackberry Curve and about 10 days later the tiny connectors inside the phone - one broke and the phone would no longer charge. When I pulled the charger out a piece of the phone came with it. I took the phone back to our local Sprint Corporate Store - not authroized dealer.

My question is - CAN they give you a refurbished phone without telling you saying it's new. The phone quality as in lighting, trackball speed all seem a little sluggish compared to my original one. I have all the settings the same.

Also, can you check the ESN number to tell me if they did trade me out a refurbished phone. I was within my 30 days.

i went to alaska for a 1 month trip and 15 days in my relatives in Oklahoma got the bill for $1200 (mostly roaming long distance) and it said i had been roaming long distance every call i had made. but the whole time i was there my phone didn't say roaming at any time. it said i was using the sprint network the whole time and a few years ago my dad went and used his phone the whole time and didn't get charged extra. and now ive noticed that our plan doesn't say nationwide roaming like it used to and we didn't change it. we had a sprint fair and flexible plan!!!(which doesn't seem very fair with this bill) and when we called about it the CS rep. said we had an old plan that no longer had roaming included and we had to change our plan if we go...

OK, I have no clue what I'm looking for here. I've read the manual. I need help getting into the "Device Options" screen. I thought there was a tool icon, but it's gone now. I changed my theme and font when I first purchased the blackberry a week ago, and now I'm trying to change the theme again and I'm going nutts trying to figure out thow to get into the "device options". I still have a little learning curve with going from the Treo to the Blackberry.

Im really attracted to the rumor, however, I am EXTREMELY hesitant on making the decision or painfully waiting it out for another month and a half for the new year. I'm looking for neat new phones like the rumor..anything with a full keyboard and preferrably windows. Even though the rumor does not have windows, I'm wondering if it's even worth me spending the extra $15 or more a month to gain internet access if the browser in the phone is going to be cheap or "watered down" as i once read. I want to get my moneys worth..can anyone help me out and/or know of any upcoming phones that I should be looking forward to?? I MUST get rid of my prepaid!!!!

My company signed up with Nextel service a few years ago. Mainly for the direct connect feature. The problem is every location we travel to we have no service. I mean, every single location I've been to I have no service with my Nextel phone. This is not an exaggeration. Every person here carries two phones, their business phone and a personal phone. I personally have my Nextel work phone and my Verizon personal phone. Every location I go to I have service with my Verizon phone but not with Nextel.

One of the people here spoke to a rep that said Sprint coverage is much better. We can get a Sprint phone with direct connect and better coverage. Would anyone be able to confirm this?

Ok. I am getting ready to do my upgrade on my phone and need some help/suggestions.

What I am looking for is a phone of course.. but I need my Wife to be able to go online and run credit cards through her merchant account's website, email is a must but just sending and receiving with attachments is fine, IM is cool but not a super important feature, I would like GPS navigation, a basic scheduler/alarm, basic contacts storage for business & personal, etc.

The phones I am looking at are the following:

1. Instinct
2. Blackberry Curve 8330
3. HTC Touch
4. Plam Centro

What would your suggestions be? Any other phones in the same price range?

Also, I hear there is an extra charge for the Blackberrys, is this true?

I recently got a bill that seemed way too high so when I checked into it there were 20 ringtones downloaded onto my account. I argued with sprint customer service for about an hour with them telling me I downloaded the ringtones and that I had to pay for them. After threatening to cancel they took the charges off my account. I thought that maybe somebody gained access to my online account but after talking to my brother, and a couple friends and even my mother....they all had the same thing happen to them....a bunch of ringtones that they didn't download were tacked onto their bills. Has anybody else had this problem??? Is sprint trying to rip people off or what?

I have the LG Rumor in green. Love the phone besides a few qwarks but nothing i can't get around. Had a question for the phone savvy people who have used the rumor or anyone who may know. If i was to load an e-book onto my memory card, could i view it on the rumor? Probably a retarded question, however, I am just curious. Thanx in advance everyone. 🙂
