I was wondering.. at the end of my USCC contract (which still isn't for a year..), will I recieve a deal on a new phone, or since I am an "existing customer" will I have to pay retail price?
I'm currently using a beat up LG VX6000, simply because I cannot afford the retail price of another fancy phone. Will I still be stuck in this rut at the end of my contract?

I have a lg 6100 and was wondering how you send and a picture to and email account and not to another phone? I have tried several times and it comes back saying that is not a valid address. Also does anyone know how much this cost each time you do it. Thanks. 🙂

I was deciding between the LGVX6100 and the Motorolla V710. I want Bluetooth and AOL AIM as an Easyedge Application but the V710 doesn't have AOL AIM as an application option, does anyone know why? Verizon has the same phone and it has it! The LGVX6100 has it, but no bluetooth.

Does anyone know if AOL AIM will be available on the new Nokia 6255i bluetooth phone. If it is, I'll wait for it....

why is it so freaking huge if it gets the same talktime as the 4750? where are kyoceras made? half say mexico, half say the united states. Are they working on the border or something? i guess the fact they are made in the united states explains why they are the same price as the 4750's since the 4750 seems to have more to offer but is made in korea or whatever. i guess i dont have a real question, im just talking.

Is this something we can expect this summer, this year even?

USCC hasn't exactly set the world on fire in keeping up with new services/handsets/accessories etc.

Heard the next handsets are going to be PTT handsets. Hope they are not the only ones being introduced.

Does anyone know what USCC is going to be coming out with in July. I know in my area July 9th is the date that the new phones and plans will be changed ect..? My plan is up July 11th and I can get a new phone. So I'm looking around. Thanks 🙂

If Alltel gets it Thursday, as it says in their forum, and USCC doesn't, I'm an Alltel customer. I hope USCC gets it Thursday, but I'm sick of waiting. Besides, Alltel has a nice Nationwide plan too.

In our agent connections newsletter we were updated on the status of the Nokia 6255. Here is the excerpt:

"Nokia has launched national commercials highlighting the Nokia 6255. This is Nokia's first CDMA fold phone, tagging us as arriving at a U.S. Cellular store this summer. This handset is currently in testing. The anticipated launch date is August, pending testing results. We will not release a handset until the manufacture meets our requirements and the handset has complete and passed all testing. Updates will be available in future Agent Connections."

I've already been asked about this phone by customers, and am interested in getting on for myself, so hopefully it will finally pass testing. I will update more as information ...

Hey girl. Under Samsung phones is the SCH 570. It says "tentative" for USCC. But my local USCC guy says it'll NEVER happen. He 100% dismisses the possibility of getting in Samsungs. So, what say you ????

Someone at the Alltel forum says the CS rep told them the price would be $249 without a contract, $189 1 year, and $129 2 year. Due there on the 23rd.

So does anyone know when all these phones that i see on here will actuly be out for USCC... Im dieing for a new phonw... I really want the 6255i. When ever i go to store, dosnt matter who the carrier is, most of the ppl are idiots, they dont know a thing, thank god for this forum 😁

Just had the 6255i in my hands at the local Alltel store. Was chomping on the bit to buy this phone for 4 months now. Then disaster struck. There is NO WAY to keep either the keypad light or the Main screen light or the Outside display screen light on for more than 10 seconds !!! Forget it. I always have my lights set for "on flip open". I realize that the lights drain the battery, but I'm willing to put up with that. I just charge the battery a little more often. So, in summation, the whole phone goes dark in 10 seconds. Then you hafta press a button to re-activate the lights. EVERY 10 SECONDS !!!! Phoooeeey.

I'm hoping that someone for Cellular One or Western Wireless or Metro PCS tell me that it's different on their 6255i, but I'm afra...
