I'm considering changing to US Cellular from Verizon, getting it's nationwide no-roaming plan. Monthly charge will be quite a bit less. I made some test calls from US Cell store, and call quality seems great.
Any of you had good luck in changing to US Cellular. ANy problems traveling, using phone out of US Cell's own area? I know they are highly ranked in Chicago, right up with Verizon.

I have searched and cannot find any software to
upload pics and phone book off this phone. Verizon has the software but it is not compatable with US Cell.

Has anyone found working software for this???

I was on hellomoto.com and it showed the v266(ptt) for uscc but its not on the us cellular site.

I read that the CDMA RAZR is supposed to be in testing by several CDMA carriers, any chance that one of them is USC?
Moto has a lot of cool phones and I hope we get some.

how many customers does us cellular have

Will the US Cellular version of the 6255i have a blue faceplate? The ONLY reason I'm not going with Alltel is their version has a white faceplate. Ugly, in my humble opinion.

yeah they got new phones, but they aer nothing great.... at all. It would be nice if they would get a NICE PHONE!!! come on USCC get the act together, i would leave USCC but they have the best plans... so i have to either pay a lot of havea crappy phone.... It would be nice to see some of those phones that phonescoop has listed on their "coming soon" for USCC like the Nokia 6255i or the Blackberry.... Im dieing for something new. If anyone has any info on when those are coming out please let me know.

I heard from someone inside the company that the 6255 has failed all testing thru USCC. They are still aiming for a Aug launch date but don't be surprised if Aug comes and go w/o the new phone... 😡

😢 I have so many customers coming in on a daily basis that do not get good reception...any suggestions as to help these people? I have even contacted uscellular and offered my property to put a tower on? HELP I'm running out of ways to try and help these people....

My company will be selling USCC for the next 9-12 months until Verizon comes into our local market. There is no problem with the network, it is a great network.

I have some frustrations with USCC, however that really make me wonder about them as a company. Keep in mind I worked for USCC for 4 years so I understand the company's culture.

1) The USCC stores treat us like competitors rather than partners. They badmouth us when customers we activated come into the USCC store for anything. The Verizon stores happily serve customers without trash talking the dealers.
2) We only see a rep when the promos change (every 3-4 months) Verizon reps come into our stores at least once per month and they help train our associates.

I have US Cellular but am currently out of contract and just want to stay month to month for now! My question is, if I buy a used phone is there a way to replace my old phone with the one I buy without paying a fee? I called US Cellular customer service and they said there is a $15.00 charge if I take it to a dealer and have it switched!
