Any current Blackberry users out there? Phone looks and sound great. Could be something I could really use.

I currently have the LG VX4400 and I am looking to get a new phone. I hear that USCC is going to be getting some new phones soon. I'm kinda interested in the Nokia 6255i and LG UX5000. I also like the Motorola V710. When will the new phones come out and out of those three, which would you all recommend?

I just upgraded from the v265 (wich works awesome as a basic phone) to a v710. three days later i had to take the v710 back to get it replaced because it wouldn't keep a signal. This phone is great, the screen on it is awesome, the bluetooth headset that comes with it rocks. Question is, will this phone last for 2 years? What has your experience been?

And we still have the same gay phones!

I know USCC bought some spectrum in west central and northwest Oklahoma. Any idea when they are going to start building some towers and such?

Those of us in the US Cellular reason should be glad we have a great regional carrier like US Cell availalbe to us. We all know how bad Cingular is, so I guess it's not so hard to believe that Cingular would be kicked out of the Better Business Bureau in Upstate NY for having so many complaints, many of which go unanswered. In most areas, Cingular ranks dead last in both customer service, and call quality/reception per JD Powers survey and Consumer Reports. Verizon and US Cell just about tie for first in places where they compete. Cingular also has the highest complaint rate with the FCC. I am new to this board and am getting ready to get USCC service. But, I am trying to decide which phone to get. I am interested in clear reception only. I am not at all in need of a camera or any other add-ons. Right now I can get either the Kyocera SoHo or the Motorola v262 for the same low price. I live in a rural area where reception is generally poor and was wondering if anyone has either of these phones and could recommend one. They both get wonderful reviews from what I have found online, but I have been told the SoHo was more durable. Any thoughts?

I've heard some rumors (I think on this site) that U.S. Cellular will be coming out with the Blackberry 7250.

Does anyone have any more information regarding this or am I dreaming?

I have decided to give up on the Nokia 6255i and I took out a new 2 year agreement today with a Moto V710. So, I know Alejandro and RichardM will miss my insightful witticism, calm demeanor, and infinite modesty. 😉
Actually, as a Christian, I did get a little too mean once or twice and I hereby officially apologize to all. ( But it DID help keep this board a little lively, right ? ).
The V710 has an AWESOME screen and great speakerphone. Plus, it has some keypad lighting options that NO Nokias have. So I am very happy with it.

Can you add the protection insurance anytime you want?

I have 3 lines of service and would like to upgrade to PTT. USCC wants me to pay full retail for the phones, because i'm not due for a discounted phone. Thats not a good tactic to get people to start using this service. Am I being penalized for already being a customer and not a new one?

Am looking for new phone suggestions for USCC. Looks as though the Motorolas V265/266/276 or E815 would be good choices, along with the LG VX-6100. Other ideas are appreciated. Basically, I'm looking for good reception (main priority), then cameraphone, then speakerphone. Look forward to your thoughts.

I made the switch to US Cellular yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. I never realized what a big difference in service, esp. customer and sales service, I would be getting from switching, as well as how much I would save.
The USCC reps in the corp. owned store were fantastic. First, the went over which rate plan would work best for me, based on my 2 phones being used on my National share plan.
I brought in my last several Verizon bills, and they figured out how many incoming minutes I was averaging, as I would not be charged for those minutes at USCC.

people are starting to complain about their repairs for the Razr, which is making me think its not just the cdma phones that are constantly being sent out for repair, it seems like half of the motorolas i sell have to be sent back to motorola for manufactures defect! US CELLULAR! GET AN LG NON-CAMERA PHONE FOR ME TO SELL!
