On the Call: Verizon COO McAdam on iPhone...
Associated Press, 07.22.11, 12:12 PM EDT
NEW YORK -- Verizon Communications Inc. is benefiting from being able to sell the iPhone, but investors were looking for even stronger results in the second quarter. Anything? Should I be able to use nearly any phone? Also, which cell phone technology would be compatible with most/all providers? I think I remember CDMA being Verizon exclusive? Maybe that is wrong.
Also, I am currently on a contract. I have it suspended right...

Hey epik, not to change the subject, but I'll change the subject...I haven't been on in awhile, how has the sale of iPhones been going for Verizon? Did anyone ever hear from Scott Herman again....? My daughter just got one (coming from the original Moto Droid) and she absolutely LOVES the battery life. She routinely gets 4 days on one charge (I couldn't go 5 hours with my droid). That and the camera seem to be the ultimate selling points for the iPhone. Has the offering finally shut up the masses or does the average Verizon customer just not care? I know I don't....still rocking the berry.
From my somewhat limited point...
