Does anyone have any info on the battery life specs for the Voyager?

A customer brought an old phone into my store to be activated on her boyfriends account. The phone was a verizon phone but it had been easy pay, she just hadnt used it in a long time. I reverted to factory specs and tried to activate it, but it said I couldnt.
I called customer service and they said that the phone had an MEID instead of an ESN and therefore couldnt be actiavted on anything by an easy pay account. This didnt make any sense to me, but he wouldnt explain it. Is this true and is there a way around it? She loves her phone and doesnt want any other phone we have.

On the Iphone/ATT law suit???? Looks like ATT gets to go through a V710 kinda situation...the phone should be able to be unlocked in my take!

I just called my Verizon guys (indirect retailers) to reserve a Voyager, and it just so happens that one of them went to an event last night where lots of phone manufacturers were showing off there new products, etc.

Anyway, I don't have too much new info, but he said that the touchscreen is amazing. He was floored by the way it vibrated when you tapped something, as a way to recognize your input. He said that the browser is very quick, and that neither Verizon nor LG missed a thing. He said the phone seems solid, and has everything you could ever need.

He also told me that they might hit stores as early as November 1, which I personally find hard to believe, but the thought is exciting anyway!

Any word or release info for the HTC 5800/Fusion for Verizon?

I recently traveled from SIoux Falls SD to MInneapolis ST paul. While I was there, I had split bars, 1x and EVDo. One quick question. Does anyone know where a list is of who has evdo and when SIoux Falls SD? We have a HUGE Verizon population! I bet out of the 160,000 residents at least 75% have verizon! Alltel simply stinks (putting that very nicely) (Dropped calls every 10 min or so) and sprint simply does not have the coverage! So My main point is when will we get EVDO?

OH and I saw an I phone. I am in love. My checkbook is not. too bad there is no verizon i phone then i would get it!

According to a Verizon rep I was talking to today V-Cast Mobile TV goes live on 11/19 in the Detroit area with the usual month of free access to get you hooked. Can anyone confirm this? I was told before the end of the year but didin't know how reliable the date was.

How come nobody else is inpressed with the 2GB of INTERNAL memory this phone comes with? Thats a lot of built in memory!

I am absolutely shocked that Verizon is doing nothing for the customers who endured the 2PM-8PM outage yesterday..no credits, no bonus minutes.."just apologize, it's all we can do"

Even our business customers....I also did research and there was so many huge festivities going on in the area that was affected...I have a feeling this day will be full of churn.

A few questions:

1. When synching up your PDA phone with your desktop for, say, Outlook, would Verizon charge you data minutes for using your home's WiFi network? Is that what is meant by wireless sync?


2. Is there a way to disable the phones access to the Verizon data network in order to avoid Verizon data fees (similar to the way most phones can disable "Roaming" access)?


3. Or, if I get a PDA phone with Verizon, I pretty much need to pay them $45/month so I can use my own wireless networks?

Is there a Verizon phone out there for someone like me who uses a Palm for calendar/contacts, not to edit MS docs,etc? Would I have to get a PDA type phone for the contacts to have ability to put in addresses? I am tired of carrying two devices. Thanks for any help.

Ok I have a question on a battery replacement. I was wondering when a phone starts to not hold a charge very long and the phone is only 4-5 months old is this covered or do you need to buy a battery out of pocket.

Okay, I use a Samsung SCH-I730, no internet package (Verizon's Data plans are still too expensive) and I've noticed over the past few weeks, if not months that my call quality has declined and my phone hangs up for no reason while I'm on a call. The battery has plenty of juice, good signal strength, no weird apps running in the background, just boom, it hangs up. I've had it happen at home, in the car, different states, all over the place. I've also been getting crapier voice quality as well. Does this sound like a problem anyone else is having? I'm not making a big deal out of it since SUPPOSEDLY the i760 will be out next week and it's way past time to upgrade, but anyone else seeing this problem?

The slide show is the only way I've found to do this, which makes no sense. ;'(

If you hit the "view" button on a picture it brings up a small version if it.. if you hit "view" again it takes you back to the list of pictures.


If you start a slideshow and hit view it will go to full screen.


Is there a way to do full screen without a slideshow?

I would haven't posted this in the manufactureres forum, but it seems kind of dead over there..
