If you you get a phone and line A and it has a MIR then switch it to Line B, you will lose your MIR is that correct? I would figure yes because the receipt you mail in w/the rebate form has Line A's mtn, so I would figure that the rebate would not carry over. Anyone else agree? Maybe someone that works for the rebate dept Parago? Thanks

A rep at a store told me the 8600 and the 8300 were being discontinued to make way for the onslaught of new phones coming out in July.

I just got one for $10 at a yard sale 😁 Can you believe it? Although I think it could be a knock-off, it did sync to my env. I didn't charge it that much, the sound wasn't all that bad. I'm going to try it on a full charge, the range was about 10' with a 15 min charge. Anyone have one of these? How can I tell if it's fake(aside from getting it at a yardsale)?

Do all vendors sell selling Verizon phones and accounts charge the same prices with the same equipment?

I changed from Cingular couple days ago and wanted to try LG VX8600 and 8700, along with the 8300. The salesman (Berkeley University Ave) told me that the 8600 and 8700 were discontinued. I felt uneasy about him but was impatient so went with the 8300.

I then saw both 8600 and 8700 at another Verizon dealer nearby and was told that they were not discontinued - that he lied to me.

This second store then told me that there were no rebate deals on the 8600. Then, checking online I see that everyplace I look has two phone deals for exactly $99.98 after rebates.

Who can I trust, or is it a mistake to expect honesty?

I went in to a vzw store today to get the Moto Q, and the pricing of the phone wasnt bad, however the $44/month for unlimited data seemed a little steep. They said there are three options: 1. The $44/month. 2. $24/month for 10 mb of data/month. 3. no plan and they charge u 1.5 cents/kb used. Now i wouldnt do option 3, because i realize that would get very pricey, however i wanted to know ur opinions on option 2. In terms of internet and email is that reasonable, or is 10 mb not much?? what would u recommend? thanks

So the next question is can you place an order for the XV6800? My NE2 is up in September ..if i don't use it in September will i lose my 100 discount for this phone? If i can place an order ahead of time i suppose they may let me use my 100 buck discount, but seeing as this phone is going to be like 600 bucks I'm gonna need that 100 to help with the cost.

Maybe I've been doing this too long, but I find myself GREATLY annoyed with the amount of teenyboppers who talk about getting a Blackberry for their next phone simply because of the name yet they don't even realize that you can get your email on the handset (the sole purpose of the device). Even more shocking are the parents that consider buying it for them until they learn that...

What a surprise. Extra features cost extra money. Buy your 12 y/o a Samsung u340 so when it gets "stolen" (read "lost") it doesn't cost you $500 to replace it.

Please either buy allel or go back to letting us roam on alltel in Nebraska.

Verizon moved us from alltel in nebraska and started us using US Cellular, what a mistake. Our phones are just about paper weights on the US Cellular network.

Please, pretty please put us back on alltel, it will help you keep saying the best nework, if you stay on US Cellular, you will have to change your advertisments or put a disclosure on them such as.. "Best network" *

* Best network claim does not include Nebraska as we use US Cellular there, and all we can say, is good luck using your phone. 🤣
