HELP I want a new phone!!!

I signed up with verizon in jan 07. Bought the lg8600. Great for 6months. Then screen went totally blue. Got it replaced. Now the new 8600 after two weeks of use is not able to charge. The plug to charge the battery got jammed back inside the phone where I can't plug it in any longer to charge.

The rep at the store said that no one has had any problems with this phone.

An added desire to get a new phone is the lg 9400 that I can get tv service. Doesn't verizon have a plan that they will switch out if there are problems with a user's current phone model? But is it after 3x?

Can I switch models some how with only to returns in 7 months?

Thanks

Back door voice mail gone?

Is it just the back door vmail number (215-510-8686) that I use, or is VZW dumping all of the back door voice mail access numbers?

For what it's worth...

I guess to Lapdog and Shock questioning the selection of phones is unheard of. It's like rooting for your favorite baseball team and the questioning roster moves. That's all I was doing. Employees of VZW take these forums a bit too seriously. Although I think a healthy debate is good for all.

2nd Quarter Results

Saw VZW results this morning. Churn slightly up, revenues way up, solid adds.

Didn't take the time to post the numbers because the Rural Cellular acquisition is more interesting. Several hundred thousand new customers and an expansion in our coverage areas. The nations best network is about to get a huge improvement.

Somewhat Better Pic of the LG 8350 & Possibly an October/Fall Release Date?

For a somewhat better (though small) pic of the LG VX-8350 than the one I linked to a couple of days ago, go to

http://www.hoonio.com »

...and then click on 'Works'. As you can see, the phone is black and sleek. 🙂

Unfortunately, it also mentions a 'Fall' release date. ☚ī¸

Also, judging from the same Korean cellphone software engineer's resume, it looks like an October release date, to be more specific?:

I hope this resume is rather old and that the release has been moved up some, or that his software contribution is not necessary for the phone to launch.

a630 Service LED is inconsistant?

The LED lights around the silver Samsung logo are supposed to flash green every so often as a service indicator. But I've only seen it a few times. Why?

VZW - Mobile Web

How does Verizons web access or regular multimedia phones (not pda or blackberry) compare to Cingular or Sprint. Content wise and speed wise. I know T-Mobile does not have 3G so i left them out. Thanks.

LG Prada?

I just read on engadgetmobile that the Prada is coming out with AT&T. Thought it was supposed to be a Verizon phone?

LG's rumored roadmap for AT&T

We're hearing about a bevy of new handsets from LG that should -- by should, we mean it is rumored -- be landing at a store near you between now and the end of year. First up, LG's CU575 "Trax" -- that we've been hearing about for a while now -- may have finally found a solid date with AT&T, look for it to arrive around about August 17th. The LG CU400 is getting refreshed with the LG CU515, an all-black 3G handset that looks like a cross between the CU400 and CU500, expected September. Als...

Do I Have 15 Or 30 Days to Return An NE2 Phone?

To any reps:

Sigh. I'm lovin' my Sammy 540 in most every way, but the speakerphone echo issue is driving me NUTS (or rather, my friends and family nuts, since they're the ones who get the severe echoing).

I may be returning this bad boy, sadly. Too bad, 'cuz I really liked the phone in all other aspects. But I use speaker a lot. đŸ˜ĸ

So, what happens? Do I have 15 days from the purchase to return my NE2 phone, or 30 days? When I bring it back, do they just give me my money back and cancel the 2-year contract extension? My plan is not to try another phone immediately, but rather to forget about the whole NE2 thing for now, and wait for the LG 8350 to come out, then try that.

Is that kosher, or will they insist that I'v...

RAZR&SLVR

Does anyone know how much the Moto Razr and SLVR are for full retail?

Also I have narrowed it down to these two which one would you all go with.

I would call them myself but I am using my phone to connect to the Internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Verizon's Plan for a Bluetooth Day

I am at my desk with my new Verizon phone. I need to add a phone number to my phone. I key in the contact on my computer which in turn syncs to the phone using BT. I get into my car, and have the ability to call the new contact by scrolling through the address list using a steering wheel button.

The contact calls me, his/her caller ID comes up on the dashboard screen, music is muted, I take the call. Its a server down emergency. I pull over and park the car, turn off the engine. BT unpairs with the phone. I open up my laptop the phone pairs with the laptop to give me a broadband DUN connection. I connect to the internet, take care of business and am back on the road ready to take or place calls. I never even looked at the phone through al...

Verizon Wireless--getting hired

What does it take to get an interview with this company? I have applied twice, and in my opinion I have a very solid resume, several years experience in the wireless industry as well as sales and retail management. What exactly are they looking for? Any suggestions??

Speakerphone Echoing/Feedback- Which Phones Have It, Which Don't?

Question for the more experienced among you-- my new phone, a Sammy 540, is very good except for one thing... speakerphone echo. ☚ī¸

It seems like about 1 out of 3 or 1 out of every 4 calls I do on speaker cause excessive echo/feedback on the other end, to the point where I have to shut speakerphone off.

My old Nokia 6256 had the same problem, but not as bad.

So my Q is, in your experience, which phones have you used that had few to no problems with speakerphone echo or feedback? Which phones have you used or tried that had a LOT of problems with speaker echo, feedback, etc.?

I don't think I'm bailing on my 540, but it could happen.
