False Text Messaging Charges

Has anyone been charged of text messages that they never sent? I looked at my bill this past weekend and found out that I was charged for over 100 text messages that I did not send. There are also text messages that were supposedly "sent" since my last billing cycle that I don't know about. I called customer service and explained the situation but they said that text messages can only be sent through the handset. So I made them investigate the situation and put a block on all text messages. They tell me to check to see if we recognize the number that the text messages are being sent to, but did not recognize it. This was Saturday night and when I checked my account this morning, 22 more text messages have been sent since then. So I guess the...

Jabra BT8010Z vs Jawbone with VX8300

I picked up the Jawbone from Cingular to use with my VX8300 after watching the demo on the Jawbone website. I haven't seen the stellar performance that their demo led me to expect. My wife still complains about hearing too much wind if I'm outside (no, she's not referring to me!). Jabra has just released the BT8010Z that claims to have noise canceling software. Does anyone know how well the Jabra BT8010Z's noise canceling software works? Thanks!

Motorola Q Warranty Swaps???????

I have the Moto Q and it has been shutting off on me. I called Verizon and they were kind enough to swap me out for a refurbed Moto Q. My question is what happens if the refurb acts up? Will Verizon just keep swapping me with Moto Q's or is there a policy that after so many they will switch me to a different model. I have not been confident in the Moto Q series hence why I am askin these questions. I would just like to seek opinions of anyone on this board with answers. Thanx!

finally made up my mind

Ive had tmobile for like 6 years-- from time to time i kept thinking of moving to a new company, but i was to scared to start somthing new.

i finally made up my mind a few weeks ago- i was going to go with either verizon or alltel. where i work at williamburg the service was basically crap with tmobile! everyone who had alltel or verizon got service.

finally i started doing my research and at the end i decided that even though verizon might have better service--alltel was about equal here in va-newport news, willamsburg, and hampton. So service was not a concern. alltel had way better prices. less money for more minutes, plus my circle. i know people equeally that have verizon and alltel. so basically that wasnt another concern.

w...

Good-Bye letter again?

Why is that every single troll who "leaves" Vezion must post a good-bye letter? I mean, are you so insecure about your own decision? Or you feel lonely, and nobody answers to you posts? Just do it! I hope you like whatever company you chose.

Adios, Verizon...you've been terrific, but...

I had to get a number local to Charlottesville, VA, where you don't have service. Funny, you're all around us, but you don't have towers for us...UVA Country! Well, I went ahead and got a national plan on Alltel, comparable to what I have had on your service. I think I'm going to be OK, and what would even be better is...IF YOU BUY ALLTEL OUT! I'm sure most of the readers know by now that Alltel was purchased a week ago this past Monday by two financial holding companies. I seriously doubt if Goldman Sachs is interested in selling cellular phones, so they will sell it off, probably after the auction for the 700 Mhz band sites early next year. So, what would really be cool is, if that happens...I'm back with Verizon again, with a number...

International trip - need a suggestion

Hi all,

I will be taking a trip to the bahamas and I understand my vzw phone will not work there. What is the deal with global rentals? How does that work?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

In your opinion

Why do you suppose that Verizon won't carry the 6265? It's a remarkable phone!

need help with phone/data plan

I am a long time verizon customer going bace to pre-verizon days. I have 3 phones on a family plan and a 4th that I use. I just got a motorola "q" from a friend for a good price and need to get a new plan. My current plan is for 900 minutes. However the data combo plans are 450 minutes 1350 min and 4000 mins. I can add the $45 a month data plan to my 900min plan but its about the same price as the 1350 min combo plan. My usage is in the 600 to 800 min permonth range so I dont like paying for all of the minutes I dont use.

Are there any "hidden" or non published plans?

My family share plan is an old one with 1500 minutes I could up the minutes and move my phone over but the new plans go from 1400 to 2100 minutes then to 3000 and the 21...

Upgrade Program Updated 6/1

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not. But as of yesterday customers can now upgrade four months early on a two year. And two months on a one year. This counts as a standard ugrade and New every two can be applied.
