Need Help Quick!!

I have a customer in front of me with a Nokia/Pantech 6315. He claims that whenever the battery meter drops down a notch, the phone beeps 4 times at him. Is there any way to turn this off if this is even a legitimate claim? I can't duplicate the problem in the store and the ERI alert sounds are all turned off. Thanks in advance!!

Identity Standards

So... all us indirects are now Authorized Retailers instead of Authorized Agents or Service Providers for sub-agents. What do you all think of that?

Verizon, are you ready now???

As many of you are aware, Alltel Wireless was sold earlier this week to two holding companies, whose purpose it is to up the ante and sell off Alltel probably not too far down the road. The ONLY CDMA carrier that can possibly afford to take over Alltel IS Verizon. I find it curious that although Verizon has a presence in central Virginia, it is NOT available in Charlottesville, one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. If you were to take a protractor, put the needle of it in Charlottesville, and draw a 50-mile radius circle, at least half, if not more, of that circle would NOT have Verizon service. It's available as far west as Waynesboro, as far east as Louisa, as far north as Warrenton, and as far south as Roanoke, but so...

BroadbandAccess without a Contract?

Is there any way to signup for BroadbandAccess without a 1 or 2 year contract?

I was given a RevA EVDO card (without service) by a friend and would like to have month to month service, not the 1 or 2 year contract period.

Good Displays outside in daytime?

I know that phones these days with Vzw's UI have tiny type. Add display's that aren't outdoor friendly (poor in sunlight). This makes them hard to use in daylight.

Given that folks, how do you find the displays(internal and outside for the clock) on some of the newest phones?

Razr Maxx,
LG8700
Sam u540
etc.

Others that may be fair or better in sunlight, and you can read the caller id quickly when cruising down the freeway during the day.

I've had several people ask me this, as most local Verizon stores have these clamps attached to their phones tethered by wire that prohibit you from fully closing the phone to see what the outside display shows.
Thanks

surpirse?

😈
i was just wondering, while so many are claiming third quarter as a release time for the newer phones we've seen here [i.e moto TV phone and others]. i seem to remember people saying the same when i was waiting to get my lg 8100, and out of nowhere it came out..[it arrived in July with alot of people from a different website swearing to god it would not hits stores till fall of that year.}

so any chance verion might throw us for a loop and release some newer phones sooner than expected? especially with the iphone. it would seem to me they would not want to wait TO long before releasing something cool after to get more customers maybe? what do you guys think?
